wondering... what is wrong with that to cause his account to be suspended?
Have seen some other people who promote their sales within lowyat forum
*
I suppose I can see some problems. The mods can't differentiate between one trader that create multiple ids that recommend sales back to himself or have many partners (or brothers) creating ids with the aim of promoting his product (which creates an illusion of being reliable/popular and that is unethical) against bona fide recommendations from real customers.

iamsobloodysick is already well known enough in lowyat and gisella (being a brother/partner) doesn't need to do any promoting to create suspicious collaboration.

Panasonic Asia has not announced its lineup for 2011 as yet. I hope the ST30 that is available in the US/EU is available here and being entry level, hopefully the prices are decent.

I'm personnally looking forward to the 2D G series and the 3D VT30 series to see how the improvements are compared to the V20 and VT20 seen last year.

will the 2D G series be comparable to the 2D V series? Let us know when you know smile.gif
like gogo2 mentioned, Im wondering too - should we go for the 2010 V now or wait for the 2011 G or S?

If price is the most important factor, I suggest you go for the V20 now.

But if you are more interested with the better black levels, less floating/rising blacks, improved 50Hz material handling ... then you should wait for the 2011 models. The price will likely be higher at launch (> RM1-2K, more than that for the 42") unless you are willing to wait until Mar 2012 when they are clearing stocks.

The other factor is the 3D series (ST, GT and VT) pricing. Will Panny Malaysia follow the US direction to make 3D mainstream? And hence the pricing could be very mainstream as well.

Also some features available in the V20 is gone in the replacement G/GT30 (ISFccc professional settings) and only retained in the flagship VT30.

2011 G series would probably b the same price as when the V series first came out. if u dont mind about topping up 1-2k more than V series now for the 'better black levels, less floating/rising blacks, improved 50Hz material handling'. btw u shld know most of the users here are already very satisfied with the black levels on V and did not notice much floating/rising blacks

make your decision n pay the money wisely! smile.gif

with all this new G and V series about to be launch soon , i could feel my hands getting really itchy and my pockets about to be burn and credits cards to be pull by the magnetic swap machine.

only if the price is reasonable and affordable . the 55'' and 65'' looks really nice in new design and better black levels

but this new models ain't gonna come cheap

here we go, a small peep taken from AVSforum

ST and GT have different processing.

GT and VT have dual power supplies and different processing board setups.

GT and VT are now confirmed to have different processing.

VT has a unique filter to 2011.

P/S

why you guys like square bottoms

i prefer the round one

kenot.
took weeks of visiting nearly all furniture shops in the area (and neighbouring state) to find a cabinet that fits the huge centre speaker, avr, htpc, preamp, power amp, and stereo amp.

and even after all of that, still have to do modification to make sure the cabinet have enough ventilation to avoid overheating.

Also useful if you can get DLNA to work for most media formats. VieraCast ... I hardly use.

Panasonic need to bring their 3D tech to lower series. It looks like Samsung is very aggressive with 3D tech for 2011 and available from their low Series 4 all the way up. For entry level 51" (yes, xtra one inch) Full HD panel, the PS51D550 had build in 3D plus one free glasses. Price around RM 4.5k. Let's see what's Panasonic pricing strategy for 2011 model.

I hope the ST series that is supposed to be entry level is priced the same as what the Sammy is supposed to be. This will help.

Hope they can bring in 50" ST30 to around RM5k with free glasses. I always like Panny service support which is fast and no fuss. 55" below RM 6.5k would push me to consider upgrading.
