Can anyone here tell me about your company handphone allowance structure? How much the company will give if according to the staff grading?

would appreciate it very much if someone can share this info with me as I need this info urgently.

Salary : SGD3500+ 4.5 months bonus per year
Claim: SGD50 phone allowence
CPF: NA

I was offered a job below, still thinking whether to accept it or not.

Employment : 1 year Contract
Job Title : System Engineer
Employment Level : L2 Engineer

Monthly Salary : SGD4800+SGD150 allowence + 1 month bonus per year
Claim: TBC
CPF: NA

Basic Salary : RM3.2K
Before increment: RM2.8K
Allowance: nope this year skip need wait next year due of new policy .Bonus: 10.5% 13.5%
Annual Increment: depends (lowest so far 10%)
Benefit: Medical, Annual Leave.

Every year got contractual bonus + performance bonus
This year, boss telling me, no ANY bonus need at all wait next year due of giving adjustment + increasement. oh wai.
My life upside down, hear new fresh grad can get 2.5k salary. Listening to this point, I getting dilemma. Going stay this company continue or jump, Any advise?

Ya i know la of cos is OnG higest paid but that 1 very difficult get in... 2nd high is banking liao and almost everyone can go in 1..

U r getting much more than fresh grad y u wanna quit? Its normal frsh grad get around 2k-2.8k depending on qualification and industry. Im sure us tart time also around their figure rite

I am getting much than fresh grad?
Indeed I am getting much than salary compare with them. whereby in my first salary is RM2K.
Compare this year fresh grad, all of them can get around RM2.5K~. Due of infraction, for sure every year would be different in term of basic salary.

Although I work 3 years already, they no promote me as Senior, kinda unbalance. Important thing is, Vice President do ask me stay back one more year(during 2011~ verbally) and he will promote me to senior. yet now nothing much done.

One sweet promise, let my heart melt to stay again one more year.
Till now they did break promise, I still hold only Junior level, that why I will consider to quit, looking for better offer

just search elsewhere bro whenever u feel that u deserve more

3 years. 2 years in a local manufacturing company as IT Exec and joined HP as network engineer for another year before i made a move to singapore.

what u r getting is just average, there is always a better offer/opportunity outside market...

you should have asked your VP what makes you not getting promotion in that year.

I going talk with direct manager, see how the outcome.. at least clear my doubt first.
Not sure does every person going to resign, especially those management will give you sweet talk, talk about strength you are or promotion. I regret to listen this too sweet thing

current package: 24 days leave, unlimited medical, 17% EPF , permanent, 2.5 months bonus..

new offer: 48% more salary, no bonus, 12 days leave, standard medical, yearly contract renewable, foreign bank

job scope and level is similiar.


worth taking new offer??

FYI, i am still a student.. final year student in the coming sem.

Age : 23
University: University Malaysia Pahang
course : Mechanical engineering with automotive engineering
duration : 4 years (2009-2013)
current sem: 7th sem (coming semester)
status: Internship (current)
Hometown: Ipoh
Result : 2nd class (above 3.50 for now)

my question ais if there is any good recommendations of MNC for me to start my first job..

i dont mind to work in KL or Penang but of cause in Ipoh is better, as i can save more.. hehe

and i am majoring in automotive.. but that doesn't mean that i must stick to automotive field in future rite? i prefer semi-cond field..

it might be too early for me to ask these questions here.. but i am a careful person, i dun wan to choose a wrong MNC for my first career and therefore needed advise from all seniors here..

i dont mind to work hard in the starting for few years as i aim to have good salary or income only when i have sufficient experience..

I feel no worth it due to no bonus and 12 days AL...

Of course new offer salary is higher but I dun believe a good company only give 12 days AL.
2.5 months almost equals 20% more of ur salary so u only get extra 28% more. If included extra 6% EPF n extra 12 days leave, u only get less than 20% more...
