3 Years experience in finance getting 5.5k consider very good. You have any professional cert? 

Currently fresh grad only getting around 2-3k. You already double your salary in 3 years.

Wow.. with 3 years experience getting 10k? Mind to share which industry or company they working. I would like to join as well. 

But if you are telling they work oversea, then is a norm as Malaysia paid is not competitive. 

BTW mind to PM me which bank you work with? I rarely see people with 3-5 years experience in bank getting >5k other then sales line.

I was a senior exec in a MNC but doesn't seem getting that paid. My friend even worst, senior exec in bank just getting 3k+ and another friend exec in Corporate Finance in Malaysia leading Bank only get around 3k, both with few years experience.

So those are just position & name which doesn't give you any monetary value. My friend was a Finance Manager in a listed firm, but was same as senior exec as me last time.

I am getting much than fresh grad?
Indeed I am getting much than salary compare with them. whereby in my first salary is RM2K.
Compare this year fresh grad, all of them can get around RM2.5K~. Due of infraction, for sure every year would be different in term of basic salary.

Although I work 3 years already, they no promote me as Senior, kinda unbalance. Important thing is, Vice President do ask me stay back one more year(during 2011~ verbally) and he will promote me to senior. yet now nothing much done.

One sweet promise, let my heart melt to stay again one more year.
Till now they did break promise, I still hold only Junior level, that why I will consider to quit, looking for better offer
