Erm I do think you are seriously underpaid. You have 3 years experience. Fresh grads could potentially earn more than you at the moment. |

But i do have RM200 extra per month for standby weeks/calls allowance and also any OT activities after office hour is claimable per hour for me, and of course millage claim for traveling to customer sites too. Still, after almost 3 years, i agreed and also think that i should start a new one to move on forward. |

Erm Regina.. its true you can get more than what you have listed out... but I have 1 year exp only.. and I can earn slightly more than double your basic salary during peak seasons (please, not boasting or anything, its just that I believe employers nowadays tend to underpay employees and I do hope for the best for you as well).
FYI i'm in IT field as well but in system implementations. This post has been edited by kelvin_tan: Mar 9 2011, 11:28 PM |

Ur package is not bad since a company car is provided for you with petrol allowances. Getting your own car would be very costly and its a depreciating asset. |

Mr. Kelvin Tan or any one here,
I posted here before, was asking whether a fresh graduate with 1 yr work exp will make much different compare to a fresh graduate (with no exp) in terms of pay. I didnt have enough reply yet, hence I want to ask again I am basically on 12 month student work placement (internship) with Kellogg's Great Britain at the moment, work in Maintenance Department. Job scope is basically very close to the engineers in the department, which include leading projects, assist engineers in projects and planning maintenance strategy and stuff, planning preventative maintenance etc . . What I would like to know is roughly in what range of pay will I be offered when I come back to my Home country Added on March 10, 2011, 5:23 am QUOTE(teckyuan @ Mar 8 2011, 03:39 PM) cs i heard other ppl say which university u graduated from will influence your pay.. Of course that is a bullshit bro! Dont let that saying affect your confidence! In real world, employer hire people based on how suitable is the candidate to the job! If you can show your skills and share your exp to the employer which can reflect how fit you are in the position, you will definitely be considered and if they cant find any one better matching than you, then it's yours ! and most sg company don't look at Malaysia univeristy cert. This is y malaysian hard to get a job in singapore.. It this wat happen is the real world??? This post has been edited by SunofaBeach: Mar 10 2011, 05:23 AM |

Nobody answered you because your question is so vague. 1 year working exprienc as a dumpster vs 1 year experience as an engineer. The pay difference is so huge here. State the position and industry. Be specific. Generally fresh grads executive positions in malaysia range from RM1.6k - RM4.5k. |
