QUOTE(Royrogers @ Mar 25 2011, 11:36 AM) Yes, if you take new 2011 golf, most dealers give 2 free service. Here's the estimated price for the service cost schedule given by FA Wagen. 15k - rm500+, 30k - rm800+, 45k - 900+, and the killer service is at 60k, about rm2.4k. But this is for GTI. For TSI I believe its cheaper. So, if you are quoted rm1.7k for 30k service for your TSI, you are getting ripped off! What baffles me is the price. I mean if you go to the Golf mk6 forum, they're only paying 83 bucks for the first service. That's like 250 ringgit here. With the mileage that I'm doing now, I'll have to service my car possibly end of april. IT means RM1300++ to maintain the car in one month. Sucks....

Haha! Yeah, veemer's sc really gives me the cheapish feel and it's really small. I think my friend's workshop near my place has more space than that sc. I wonder if it's just a temporary place for them to service vw cars. BTW, I'm just wondering how's the GTI fc like? I'm curious as vw claimed that it is really good in fuel efficiency. Anyways, I don't think I'll get to resist to tekan on the pedal when I get my car.

Sucks.... my fren service his golf tsi at jalan ipoh. first service close to rm600. second service close to rm700. which i think quite cheap compare to other workshop. and most important is the environment, got class lah. cos new workshop and no need queue or appointment.

Cant comment as I havent got my car yet. But I suppose I will do my service at 222 since I bought my car there and I live in PJ. Cergas at TTDI will be my other option but I heard the service is crappy there. Appreciate if anyone here can share their experience with 222 and TTDI

When I send my car for service, they told that they had to re-calibrate my throttle body. I have read this a few days ago from Gmk6 forum. Turned my case is the same as well. At 70%, fuelling was 100&! It should be close to 90% cos that's where the WOT position is. Anyway, my FC is going up. Nice...

Kilang Kimpalan...cool nick anyhow, for your interest in RCD, I believe you can get that cheaper in SG and since you're a frequent KL-JB traveller, I suggest that you go and look for the HU there.

QUOTE(Yan @ Mar 25 2011, 01:22 AM) anybody got jalan for vcool or 3m crystaline + security film better than 1.8k ? coz i got quoted for rocco 1.8k by 3m authorised centre. remembered one guy got his vcool at a gud price.. wonder how much was that ? I got RM1600 for 3M CR series from TTDI... Not sure still applicable or not... BTW IMHO, go for 3M rather than V-kool.
