your car is brand new...give it time to loosen up, it will improve after your first service. But from what i have seen so far, the 1.4 is def not as economical as claimed by VW, its giving the same/worse milege then a GTI. My old S1 Gti could do easily 550-600 per tank

Im also getting 460-490 on my tsi roc...

My old GTI, i could still go 12km after the range hit 0km, wasnt testing it on purpose...really ran out of petrol and cannot find station

my roc still stock except for R kit and quads. i dont really plant to mod kaw this car...end of day, its still a 1.4, i rather save money for DP on a 335/A5/A4 later

had my 1st experience with the gti today...one word...WOW

was a little bit unease when i was reversing the car, the pedal was so heavy so i was reversing the car as if i only have L license and my cousin was like "you'll know why it is so heavy later". (he also commented i spent too much time with japanese car )

one hard step and off it goes...had so much fun with this crazy little car for bout 20 mins...im poisoned...

it's manufactured aug 08, reg feb 09, bought home march 09. RM20k off, only 100km mileage

the mk6 gti's i saw are all not driven fast, perhaps still in run in period?

No there isn't. Unless you want to recode it then yes, that is the only way,.
