thanks. do they normally repair on the spot or have to leave the phone there?

if leave there, then have to get a spare phone to use.  hmm.gif

They do not repair on the spot. Normally it takes between 7-14 days to get replacement. Do a backup and restore the unit back if its JB before sending in. smile.gif

Saw this in some forum, not sure it works for u guys or not, but I find my home button become more responsive after did this:

(1) Run any app
(2) Press & Hold the power button on top till the "slide to power off" red bar appear
(3) don't slide it & release ur power button
(4) now press home button few seconds till the screen back to ur home screen.
(5) Walaaa now ur home button is back to "normal" again

I saw quite many ppl claims that this method really works, and it works like a charm for me too (not placebo effects)

Cheers

Yah i know some of the problem is related to hardware
somehow there quite a numbers of user claims that this can fix their problem by slightly improve the responsiveness of the home button (which included me)
No harm to give a try & also share it here smile.gif

Go for warranty exchange or just change the home button membrane. I've changed mine although still under warranty. So malas want to go to Maxis, later got 4.3.5 then have to be tethered JB. So many things already in my phone to begin fresh.

Apparently no. They would have given you the phone if they have it in the first place. I was told the replacement units are from Petaling Jaya, it takes 2 hours for them to arrived at KLCC.
