Claiming warranty you will obtain a refurbished set. thats guarantee. To double check, go to settings > general > about > model > should end with LL.

I am still confusing if wanna claim the warranty or not since the issue just small only on the power/wake up button that it is hard to press and must use some energy to press.

I am unsure if future will spoil further till cannot press and end up with power cannot on also.

Better send for claim as still have warranty. U will get a look as new set from Maxis.

May be I wail till 11 mths first. Hehe

i heard someone who drop into water and send to warrenty...... they dont even bother to check the sticker and just put them in list....

if i wanna go to klcc to claim warranty, must i go that early like 8;30am? what if i reach there like 11am?

heard as in hear say? as per Maxis, all units sent in for warranty have to undergo compulsory checks to determine has the unit been tampered with or damage is caused by the user.

no you don't have to. just go anytime within their operating hours, up to 9pm.

Is it still able to claim warranty and get a new refurbish one on spot like after 2-5 hours??

I can't claim warranty because don't have owner ic. How come maxis like that? I thought maxis just need the warranty card?

If you have problem with current branch just go to claim at other branches. Maxis warranty does not need original owner to do so. Just dont mentioned you bought second hand is good.

Mine is first hand but register name not mine. But I go pavilion can go for warranty. The staff not even ask me the warranty card. Asked nothing. Just give the phone and ic only. But need to wait at least 2 weeks. Maxis klcc so sucks!

If you managed that then you're extremely lucky. Last time I claimed mine it took 2 weeks.

but maxis klcc can claim within hours. i doubt they shud be degraded to the level of being sucky just because they require more verification.
