This is due to the pcb membrane located under the home button. For those under warranty send back for claim. Over warranty sets need to replace this and issue will be solved.

It actually can be DIY if you know how to dismantle and fix back the iphone 4. Take note that it is not an easy procedure. smile.gif

Changing my iPhone 4's Home Button at local mobile shop cost me RM140.
*
It should be around that price. The labour cost is expensive. smile.gif

Digi depends on stock availability bro. If they have the stock you can get fast. One of my customers got replacement within a day.

Hmmmm.. 140, the labour should be 100 or more  sweat.gif

Yup. The hardware cost you less than rm40 but the labour is expensive. The process is similar to doing a conversion from black to white iphone 4 kit. smile.gif

well i sort of watched the youtube before, the labour work required is rather extensive.
tht part, not so expense according to the source. <5 dollars or so
*
Exactly. The part required to be replaced is actually the membrane switch underneath the button. smile.gif

Make sure that maxis did not record your set as water damage in their system. If there is record, its no point to change the water sensor indicator. I think you won't be able to claim.
Better do the button repair.
Just my opinion ya. smile.gif
