my contractor will put on white horse tiles for me,
Any recommended series for living rooms and car porch?
Prefer simple color and plain white/vanilla for floor and grey for car porch.

guys, what happens when the tiles developer used is only a "development batch" ie they only produce one-off for the housing project?

some of the kitchen and bathroom tiles in my new house are broken and the supplier (Guocera) says they don't have it anymore. same goes for the developer's contractors (I wonder how they do repair rectification works without extra stock in hand?)

i'm stuck in a rut here and hope to get some advice.

15ftx2ftxRM35=RM2100(rm35psf-labour + remove old old top & put in new tiles) no including all raw all material ( cement, sand, susu, kayu, I sendiri beli)

Is this good deal? For tiles labour cost only?? RM2100

If you ask me, the price too cheap to be believe.

Anyway don't only compare $$$, other like quality, what included, what the site like, and is there water proofing? Labor job is not apple to apple comparison.

Most important, all few quote if the job are big.

Hi all,

i have about 300 sqft bedroom that needed tiles. i've been quoted by 2 contractors giving me a price of rm3000 including hacking, disposing (there's no tiles previously there), tiles (not sure what grade probably cheaper ones), cement, sand and everything. one of them (recommend by the tiles shop) charged rm 2000 for workmanship only w/o cement and sand.

So, please give me your expert advise whether this is on the high side or not since i'm a noob in this renovation stuff. thanks.

RM 3,000.00 for 300sf for 1' x 1' tiles is considered as reasonable. For 1' x 2' or bigger size of tiles it is considered as cheap.
RM 2,000 for workmanship only is reasonable but remember times permitting that you'll have to buy all those materials.

I intended to do:

Removed the existing parquets (200sf) in the masterbed room and replace with 1" x 1" tiles.

I was told that some hacking work is required in order to make the tiles to fit in nicely. Parquets is not that thick, and if you add in cement + tiles, the floor will be higher, so I may have problem to lock the door.

I also want to do skirting for the whole unit, approximately 150ft".

Anyway can PM me their best offer ?

Thank you.

hi guys,i have 11 boxes of niro granite's cementum GCM04, size 30cm x 60cm for sale, my contractor made a calculation error thus i ended up with 11boxes more, normal selling price at shops should be around 13 to 14 ringgit depending on the shop,i am willing to let go at 9.50 per piece, one box contains 6 pieces.
