My 'wong wong wong' sound is getting louder and just found out my Vios dugong 07 bearing getting worse, just change the rear-right bearing - the whole assembly part come as a whole - bearing with sensor and can't be dismantle just to change the bearing part... cost RM480 + workmanship. Heavy damage.

My both front also exhibit some bearing problem but both were overriden by the even louder noise of the rear-right bearing. I delay a bit the replacement as my pocket not deep enough to change tires & bearing together.

4yrs old Toyota car... can't last like the old times.

i wonder the road u drive really a lot of potholes..

my mum's vios.. 4 year old also.. before the dugong model wan..

drive normal road and highway... a bit uneven road.. and once a week drive along 1-2km of rocky road [jalan kampung, chicken farm area] so u can guess how rotten that road is.. until now car rear right hand side bearing only spoil..

change new one.. like u said.. whole set together one.. cannot just change bearing only.. mine is rm360 + workmanship.. car no abs btw..

izzit different if car got abs..?

Probably without ABS they can save a little without the sensor built-in.

Anyone here encounter Air-con magnetic clutch problem. My Vios was bought in May 2008 and just over the warranty period which is May 2011. Air-con magnetic clutch break down n calling Toyota to complain as ur so called Toyota quality part only can last for 3 yrs ++ but they still refuse to replace for me. So change it outside for RM450 Denso Original. Nowadays Toyota qc really SUX. During warranty period rear absorbers leaking and change it for foc. Then now is Air-con magnetic clutch. Wonder wat is next?

currently using denso iridium, acceleration & power definitely improve, better lifespan for the plugs which u will only change it max every 100,000km & save up your $ rclxms.gif

Better change outside as sc will be more ex le...BUT nowadays there was a lot imitation in the market so be kful when buying it nod.gif

Hi Guys,

I'm very tempted to change to Denso Iridium spark plugs, but heard that this will void the warranty, is this true? Coz I think spark plugs also considered performance part.

if you discuss about warranty ... if you install the correct plug heat range will not damage your engine but will improve and extend your spark plug shall life...

dont need to worry...

If for normal road usage 16mm is good enough .... feel more stable in medium to high speed corner not to forget it still have abit of body roll this is normal as our car chassis design to have some body flex. not to forget if during raining is still controllable if over-steer happen...

if for 19mm the feel is much more stiffer compare to 16mm rear body flex is much reduce ....if over steer happen will be abit harder to control but not impossible if this happen. This is for ppl like take hard cornering or attack corner.

not to forget upgrade suspension as stock suspension are not design to attack corner.

occasional corners maybe but not always lar... most probably i'll by getting just the ARB for the time being, then maybe some other things few months down the road or maybe next year so most probably will get something that will satisfy me for a slightly longer period tongue.gif

cos 16mm and 19mm is just 3mm difference, not sure how much stiffer will the 19mm be?
