QUOTE(raoul @ Jun 17 2011, 06:29 PM) I send my Vios for service at Toyota SC and the staff said time to change my stock maintanence free battery after he heard some cranking sound when switching on the engine. Later he uses an electronic device to check the battery and the indicator show as "Replace Battery" urs is 1st or 2nd Gen Vios ? mine is 2nd gen with FB brand battery, me too wondering how long it can last...But my car only 1.5 years new and I have not encountered any sign of needing to turn the ignition more than 2 times to start my engine. How often you guys change your car battery ? how about u guys out there ? |

QUOTE(OKLY @ Jul 25 2011, 09:32 AM) Currently at the Toyota SC and they told me that replacing the spark plugs outside could very well void the warranty if there are any knocking issues. So I asked them how much are the iridium plugs and they quoted me RM79 each so for a Vios I would need 4, will be above RM300. Which SC you are in now? Cause last couple of weeks ago, the SC that I've been do not recommended to use iridium plugs and claimed that it is for camry use, funny right |
