You can try new one (v 1.10). Maybe this solves your problem.

i just do a partition to my hard disk.after do it the partition my laptop start running slow and my windows experience index down from 5.9 to 5.7.HELP ME !!!

Hi, I'm about to buy a laptop Acer 5750G or Acer 4750G would like to know what ports are used SATA hard drive and optical drive.

I found out that there are errors with the chipset H65M where SATA ports 2 to 5 do not work or stops working.

That's first batch 5750G(and also other first batch SB laptop) problem...
Now the second batch 5750G(and also other second batch SB laptop) ady solve the problem edi

And on the 4750G it is the same or there is no solution?

it still the same.the experience index still not going up to 5.9 like before.when i starting windows it so slow than before and when playing game it a bit lagging.my brightness computer also suddenly become low after i do the partition.

I'd recommend acer 5750g if u want it for gaming..

4750G is released on Q2 2011....
and the 5750G is released on Q1 2011,fixed version released on Q2 2011...
so the 4750G not that problem edi...

i dunno abt the BSOD problem.
im answering abt ur 2nd problem.

if u have scratch, i recommend u to get the mobo swap option like i did.
afterall i guess its the only option left as the laptop swap option has expired.
i changed my mobo and it is as good as new.takes 2 days only provided the mobo have arrived at ur service centre.
i recommend u place the mobo order first at the highpoint before turning ur laptop in.
ur data wont be affected at all

Added on June 7, 2011, 10:42 pmi dont know abt Poland but laptop swap options is not available now as the offer expired in March.
U can swap ur motherboard or ask for full refund.
But i guess u should check with ur service centre first abt the available options.

BTW, if u check in Acer website using ur S/N and it says urs are not affected, it safe to assume that ur laptop is using the fixed 2nd gen chipset.

Added on June 7, 2011, 10:44 pmmine is 5.8 all along since the day i bought it.but then again im using the 1st batch of 5750G with fixed chipset with only 1GB GPU.
i guess urs is 2nd batch 5750G with 2GB GPU.
and yes i did partitioned my hardisk yet the result is still the same.

yes.highpoint is their authorised service centre.if u call acer,they also ask u to go to highpoint.
dont worry,u dont have to pay a penny for the mobo replacement.

i do partition at hard disk C since it only it and i using 3rd party software.i do big space at new partition(E) 400gb.my C now is 181gb .after do the partition i running the windows experience index and it drop from 5.9 to 5.7.so i feel like something wrong happen when i do the partition and the laptop kinda slow from before.i also forget what windows experience index that drop but i think it 'dekstop performance for Windows Aero'.I JUST BOUGHT THE LAPTOP 5 DAYS AGO

dekstop performance for Windows Aero is about the graphic card?

Added on June 8, 2011, 7:30 pmmaybe u do the partition wrong.i guess theres must be some balance between C and other drive.im only usiong Windows partitioner.my C is bigger than my D drive.
And i keep my experience index score at 5.8

i put that 400GB (E drive) as logical not primary.is it ok?

i think u do it right.what i mean is that the partition ratio is not quite right judging from ur complain that your laptop running slow after u doing the partition.
im playing safe so i use the windows partitioner in Win7.
the only advantages as i know is i cant set the size of my C drive.
