Can anybody here confirm how long is the waiting period to book the new forte? If I book next week, when will I get the car approximately.

Sorento XM has already been 4 months sad.gif

Should be quite fast. But depending on colours. I can get mine in 1-2 weeks but delayed delivery due to my own problem with the banks... smile.gif

I just been told by my SA that the color I want (white 2.0SX) is out of stock. So need to wait.... I have a feeling its going to take a long time....... my bank approve my LOU 1 week already.......

SA say car will arrive in P.Klang sometime mid Apr, then will take 2 weeks to clear Kastam.... so he say latest he suspect will be end Apr...... can believe or better expect to receive later?

Although no rush for the car now but so excited cannot wait... everyday, jantung berdebar-debar waiting for the phone to ring... rclxm9.gif

Paddle shifter is the "+" and "-" paddles behind your steering wheel that allows you to change gears like in F1 cars. The idea started in F1 cars and was popular in up market luxury cars. This function is starting to become common in many car makes and models. smile.gif

hi guys

is any one with the new 6speed gear box on 1.6 version ?

want to know the consumtion of petrol.
*
my 6 speed fc after 1 month is 9L/100KM on last pump went to genting, DTE was 114 KM so if i went further i think the FC would be better of course but didnt want to push my luck so i just went to refuel. BTW, DTE = Distance To Empty - is a measurement from the car's meter that gives you an estimation before you have to push your car tongue.gif

Talking about renewing insurance, let me share my hot and fresh story from 10 minutes ago:

Got my car 2.0 last year (2010) March and want to renew my insurance and call Etiqa. The agent check my record and tell me:

Sir, your policy expired in 24th March 2010. We cannot renew for you. Your policy actually started in year 2009  notworthy.gif

Has anyone of you got your Forte in year 2009? Don't diam diam la, share with me pls, hahahahah...I was really shocked  shocking.gif

End up, need to call Naza Kia hotline and ask them to settle this. The Naza lady will call Insurance company.

Will continue the story later....
*
Guys,

After the hoo haa of the insurance, another Leave You Speechless by Naza KIA.
I actually wanted to renew the EWP, and submitted my application. Guess what, they returned back my cheque and rejected my application saying their system recorded my 1st service was clocked at 2842km.

I think for a noob car driver, most of us know 1000km will go for a service and I wonder why they said that. I even have my receipt with me and I have called the service center and they also mention in their record is 2842km. But there is a remark at the side of 1000km.

I actually don't understand what is that meant by remark. Anyway, the service center people will call HQ.

Maybe I am the unlucky one, but I do really hope this won't spoil the customer confident on NAZA as a distributor. We are very happy with the product, but probably not the distributor.

I will keep the update.
