i actually preferred the minimalistic look, coming from a M17x R1 i think the fugly look will actually keep greasy hands off my baby especially people who are attracted to Flashy lights

I prefer Sager over any other fancy laptop with superb artistic design like Alienware of Asus G Series and since the brand is unknown to most local malaysians everyone will probably ignore it like its a piece of crap not worth stealing.

Hmm, does anyone know if there is someone from Mucro who has a lowyat account or to contact easily? I have questions regarding the warranty issues.
Also, what does Rush Service do?

Pixel deformation or dead pixels do not happen often, if it were me I rather take the risk smile.gif

Speakers for the NP8130, NP8150 and NP8170 are the 2.1 sound system, THX certified. The subwoofer is on the bottom. I do not think it'll be as great as the JBL speakers in Dell but I am thinking it'll be better than most current laptops.

As for your comment about it being "fugly", yeah...well they are of the business look, doesn't stand out but gives you the edge. But you will see how efficient it is in cooling if you open up the back panel in most Sagers. It's an art form. smile.gif
These things are very good in managing their temps.

Rush service will put priority in your order, building and shipping wise. Once it is built, it will be sent straight away.

Guys, whats the diff between n8150 and n8130??

Inside can put more than 1 hdd?
*
As for the differences, I will outline them here:

NP8130 - 15.6" Matte screen (can be upgradeable to Glossy, and different contrast ratios), GTX 460m, 120W power adapter, black plastic finish, 1 HDD + 1 Optical bay. The GPU can be upgradable...but due to the 120W adaptor, it probably won't receive enough power to handle more powerful ones. Sager will tell you what can be supported in this model.

NP8150 - 15.6" Glossy screen (Can be upgradable to Matte, different contrast ratios and screen selections for certain resellers), GTX 460m/GTX 485m, 180W Power adaptor, greyish rubber finish, 1 HDD + 1 optical bay.

NP8170 - 17" inch screen, Glossy screen (Matte upgrade too), 2 HDD bays + 1 Optical bay, Aluminum finish, GTX 460/470/485m, 180W adapter (I think it is).

All of these are totally upgradable; GPU, CPU, HDD, RAM, heatsinks, LCDs, TV tuners + Sim Modules (older Sager models do, most likely possible with these), wireless cards. Extra HDD can be placed in replacement of the CD-Drive bay.

Confirmation on AMD's 6970m is not known, but have been rumoured to be supported by these new models.

Hmm, just wondering if there will be problems worth paying for the warranty.
From what I have seen is that no one ever had problems?

Oh I see, now that explains to me the warranty plan I would need.
Thanks!

Because you are the only one replying currently, may I please ask more questions? Regarding payment. Its ok if you don't feel like it. I can call them up tomorrow, but it would be better if I don't have to.

Lol... I still dont know how to actually pay.
What do they mean by order number?
Does it mean I pay first then confirm order online? I still can't find what order number is on the maybank slip

go to mucro.asia, customize your laptop and submit it, they will send you an order number.
then, go to the bank, and wire transfer the money to them as per the details. remember to include
your name and order number in the 'notes' section of the bank form.
