I am having my doubts regarding the Warranty, is 1 year parts warranty ok, and what is regional carrying? I am assuming its warranty for me at the jalan imbi service centre?
Ordering from mucro btw never ordered from Mucro before, but never had my Sager fleet fail on me (5 Sager & 6 years on)

QUOTE(Keenxlimit @ Mar 14 2011, 09:26 PM) Its really nice to see there's only a handful of people who owns Sager D: i think we're missing 3-4 people on the owner list , but most of us are repeat owners anyway once the hardware gets outdated

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Mar 25 2011, 01:54 AM) Many thanks for your assistance. I have solved the issue. Many thanks to Mucro and Sager too. It was caused by a bad bios. A new bios flushes all the issues away. My USB 3.0 / card reader / ethernet port are now working fine with the new bios (bios dated 14 Mar 2011) . I did some testing on my low-latency ram modules. Sager has an excellent ram compatibility. My ram modules can run up to 1866MHz @ CL9. Awesome... just very awesome. Will do more testings in the next few days. any chance of sharing the bios here ? also which Sager do you have ?

QUOTE(limhongwoon @ Mar 31 2011, 11:00 PM) Why most ppl don't want to upgrade by themselves ? Not more cheaper ? maybe RM 5 cheaper ? laptop parts are hard to find in M'sia , and those that you do are super over priced

QUOTE(Julian2103 @ Apr 6 2011, 02:25 AM) guys between the upgrade for the screen "matte plus 95% color gamut" and the 485 , which would you guys pick? note: Im not an avid gamer. Once in a while only monitor you can always get a cheap 24" later on. so I would choose the 485 , even with occasional gaming ... more programs will start utilizing the GC ie: internet browsers. so you have nothing to lose !

QUOTE(kahjye @ Apr 22 2011, 01:29 AM) man im gettin worried why mucro doesnt reply my email chill dude. I waited 5 weeks for the Asus G53 last year, only to have xotipc tell me that it'll be furthered delayed by another 3-4weeks ! In the end opted to go back to Sager even though it was slightly more expensive. good things are worth the wait

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Apr 25 2011, 11:43 PM) Even if you're on AC adapter, the battery should be pulled out. Long hours gaming will generate heat. It is not advisable to let the battery expose to heat. advisable, but leaving the battery compartment exposed to dust does more damage than letting the battery get hot. Also this will only extend your battery life by 2-3 months. not really worth the hassle imho.

QUOTE(sweeann @ Apr 29 2011, 03:59 AM) So far from my reading, you all have experience dealing with : mucro.asia - http://www.mucro.asia/cubehub.asia - http://www.cubehub.asia/xoticpc - http://www.xoticpc.com/LPC-Digital - http://www.lpc-digital.com/R&J Technology - http://www.rjtech.com/Add in GenTech PC as well ( http://www.gentechpc.com/). I used to buy my Sagers from XoticPC (3 of them) , but now I'm using GenTech because they price match XoticPC and then undercut them by 100USD
