QUOTE(Keenxlimit @ Mar 6 2011, 03:51 PM) Hmm, I currently have enough money to buy a new laptop. But I am worried of making the wrong decision. i dont know abotu you but i was initially gonan go for the G73/G53 until i saw GTX 485mSager 8170 or Asus G73? I'm attracted by the backlit keyboard Asus has. Anyone have any general thoughts on what and how to choose? man i tell you no gamers gonna resist the GTX 485m and so this time i went for Sager, for the first time |

8130 - matte screen
8150 - glossy screen although some resellers offer matte screen for the 8150, but the default screen for both is as above |

i actually preferred the minimalistic look, coming from a M17x R1 i think the fugly look will actually keep greasy hands off my baby especially people who are attracted to Flashy lights

QUOTE(lonelywolf90 @ Mar 8 2011, 11:33 PM) Actually, I'm very curious about one thing; sound quality.. which is also what im doing The stock Sager 8150 and 8130 is a 2.1 sound card.. Is it any better as the MSI GT680/GX660 or the ASUS G53? Sound does improve gaming experience after all XD If I want to buy this Sager lappy, I'd have to invest in upgrading the sound card too, is it advisable? im buying the usb creative x-fi 5.1 ext soundcard to pair with the 8150 i bet you wont be using its speaker if you are really gaming for real |

but as far as current pricing shows, the 6970m can save us a lot of money compared to the 485m, i still went with the 485m anyway no time to waste
but i think its worth waiting for the 6970m if youre not in a hurry |
