Thanks bro KTCY & daze. It's slim enough not to cause vignetting right? Are there any noticeable differences between these two filters?

Compared to high end HOYA filters? which is better?

F-Pro is actually quite thick.
XS-Pro is the slimmest.
I guess 24-70 should be fine with F-Pro. Only UWA will cause serious vignetting.

I am using my xs-pro with 16-35 and Hoya HD with 70-200 , used a couple of F-pro on my 18-105, 35 f/1.8 and Hoya Pro1D on Sigma 50 1.4 before.. best built quality still goes to B+W filters, although the Hoya HD is equally good as well.. Pro1D is the lousiest quality laugh.gif

F-Pro and Hoya HD? I would go for Hoya HD anytime. But if XS-Pro and Hoya HD then you need to decide tongue.gif.

I am buying a Nikon D3100. Just wanna ask, the kit lens ( AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR) can capture object (is about the size of a school bag) as far as 5 meters away detailed and clearly ?? Or should i get only the body and buy a better lens instead ??
Thanks for any advice given.

AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR is a very good lens if you can use it properly smile.gif
I will throw my very good review for that lens. however for capturing an object with the size of a school bag in 5 meter away.
I am not sure. rclxub.gif
