Anyone having unifi issues? I can't connect at all. Orange light on the router.. Tried restarting, off/on, unplug plug back.

Nothing works..zzzzzz

yes, check the Huawei BTU (the black box), is the Link and Auth light ON?

if not just call up Unifi, my area (Puchong) had this problem last week, they only manage to solve it about 3 days later.

Hi bro,

Intend to get VIP5 for my landed double storey house.

After tm install unifi in my house, what is the recommended things i should do to ensure the connections are all GOOD?
Is it to change to a better router?
Anything else i should do?

I just wanna make sure what ever i can do or upgrade is done, including upgrade the equipment they provided.

Pls help a noob in unifi.

To avoid massive wiring internal my house, i was thinking of putting all the equipments at my back store room, and connect my PC and Notebook using wifi.
The distance is about 15meter, dunno got problem or not?

Most Malaysia ISPs implement some form of bandwidth throttling

Depends on your budget and needs actually. I'm using TP Link happily. Microtik is not even an all-in-one device, apart from it, you'll need a wireless N router. And, you won't utilize all the features in Mikrotik.

hmmm I've not tried that... will do so tonight.
Already sent a report to their CS, awaiting reply.. icon_question.gif

I'm happy to report that the TM CS personnel managed to come through and solve my connectivity issue yesterday.
Made report in the early noon. Then between 2pm - 8pm I received 3 calls from TM telling me that the problem has been solved and they want me to confirm it.
But because I was still at work, I couldn't confirm.

Got home around midnight, and true enough..my internet is back on rclxms.gif
It was late so I couldn't confirm with TM that my issue has been solved.

This morning around 9AM, I received another call from TM enquiring on whether my issue has been solved or not thumbup.gif

I'm quite impressed.
