Hi bro,
Intend to get VIP5 for my landed double storey house. After tm install unifi in my house, what is the recommended things i should do to ensure the connections are all GOOD? Is it to change to a better router? Anything else i should do? I just wanna make sure what ever i can do or upgrade is done, including upgrade the equipment they provided. Pls help a noob in unifi. To avoid massive wiring internal my house, i was thinking of putting all the equipments at my back store room, and connect my PC and Notebook using wifi. The distance is about 15meter, dunno got problem or not? |

QUOTE(rattan @ Feb 24 2011, 03:06 AM) Depends on your budget and needs actually. I'm using TP Link happily. Microtik is not even an all-in-one device, apart from it, you'll need a wireless N router. And, you won't utilize all the features in Mikrotik. |

QUOTE(poyol @ Feb 23 2011, 10:15 AM) I'm happy to report that the TM CS personnel managed to come through and solve my connectivity issue yesterday.Made report in the early noon. Then between 2pm - 8pm I received 3 calls from TM telling me that the problem has been solved and they want me to confirm it. But because I was still at work, I couldn't confirm. Got home around midnight, and true enough..my internet is back on It was late so I couldn't confirm with TM that my issue has been solved. This morning around 9AM, I received another call from TM enquiring on whether my issue has been solved or not I'm quite impressed. |
