read the firmware change logs.. it will tell you what is being added/changed/modified/enhanced...

Guys pls stop PM me asking to help u guys get an earlier appointment for unifi installation. I can only do it if application is done with me. My best record is within 5 days, installation done.

You can't just simply get one. You can choose to take the original router as bridge to your own router or get a microtik/tp-link tl-wr841nd, else a router that support dd-wrt but you'll lose the iptv capability. All this because of the vlan tagging usually done by the orange router given by tm. Spoilt? Get one of the router listed in first page of this thread or get a replacement from tm. However, DIR-615, the orange router given by tm is known to have wireless issue in which i'm experiencing it badly... My laptop keeps disconnect from the router even though the router is right behind the wall of my room. Unfortunately, i have a hg655a which has compatibility issue with that tl-wr841nd.

hey guys, I was wondering on how Unifi would perform in a highrise building. I've read somewhere that unifi is working 100% for terrace houses while only 70-80% of overall performance for highrise buildings due to the old copper line installed within the building....

Is this true?

Answering questions is really tiring... Please look at first page else read 10~15 pages back and you'll see ping/speedtest result posted by me. This question is asked for 4 to 5 times in i previous 20pages...

I registered by called up CS at Unifi centre on 15/2 and get an installation appointment on 14/3.
I stay at Prima setapak Condo, Jalan genting Kelang too.
Surprisingly i was given a very special phone number like this : 03-4bcaaaaa

I'm using Win7 with latest WinBox, it always show "router disconnect" after I drag the file onto the File list, after re-login again, it only show the file with zero size.
I don't know what's wrong, suspecting either the Firewall rules or Services which I disabled .....

It's recommended to upgrade newer Stable version when become available.

ur winbox is what version ? i also using w7 x64, my wbox version is 2.2.16..

you connect to ur rb.. using mac address method or ip address ?

My WinBox is v2.2.18 on Win7 x32
connect using MAC address method
Are you using similar Firewall rules and did you disable all of those services?

well i got the default windows firewall and when i first you there was that popup i click allow.. then no problem.. already

did you try changing to using IP address method to connect instate of mac address to do the update ??

maybe you can try download the older winbox to test and see

BTW u can always call TM CS to check whatever there is application under ur name or not.
