car sway to the left when steering off the wheels in straight road = could be alignment problem.
make sure to test your car at flat and straight road. any changes to absorber set and arms require an alignment job.

steering not straight / slightly to the left while car is going straight / wide steering free play = steering bush problem.
how long it had been since the last time you change your steering bush?
you should be able to see the steering bush condition from the engine bay.

perhaps, you need alignment job and new steering bushes.
*
malmsteen... if change the whole bushes like what you done to your waja got new ride feelin?

I'm contemplating whether to use pu bushes or standard bush... if superpro got new ride feeling then might as well double the budget...

many may think that superpro is stuff, but what you dont know is that your old 5-10yr old bushes ARE EVEN HARDER. Superpro will be slightly stiffer than new rubber bushes, but definitely better than old harden rubber bushes.

Your call. I'd go for PU anytime

I just bought a mp3 modulator but only realized that my cigarettes lighter thingy no electric at all.
May I know where to fix it? Coz my 20years old proton saga still functioning. Waja only 10 years >< Socket problem?
*
I can definitely vouch its the ciggie port itself that is busted. Cost Rm20 to replace.Dont worry, the workshop will check your fuse first before they change the ciggie port

my rear left absorber area is squeaking like hell..
just happened on the way back home from balik kg trip today..
it squeaks when the road is uneven and the car moves up and down..
very evident at mid speed around 70-120kmh.. after 120kmh it squeaks lesser.. at 140kmh above its gone.. biggrin.gif

from my own experience, pu bushes absorb the sound in slightly lesser way the original bushes does.
but it definitely drives and handles better than a new waja smile.gif
handling increased due to 'solid and elastic' feel tongue.gif . it drives like a nimble swift sports in tight road. coupled with the 'rojak' engine and good diy sound insulation, can't ask for more!

for stock engine and no soundproof installed, here is the best solution ;
use the original proton bushes on ; engine mounting and lower arm bushes. they are slightly superior in absorbing the tyres /engine noise.
use pu bushes on steering bush and arb bushes. you car should have this fast respond handling. (check with elton on this one).

elton@
does my friend call you on the deal?
if not, i will force him to deal with you this saturday night around sunway pyramid area. is it okay for you?
