hey guys. i wanna ask why my fc going up after removing cat con and changing to double barrel muffler? before changing the 2 things my car can use RM30 ron95 from gopeng to kajang. and now it needs RM40+ ron95 with same driving style n speed around 120. do i need the old cat con?
ppl are saying my foot got heavier but i dun think so.. any other probable cause? i replace the cat con with a bullet. T__T thanx~ This post has been edited by blo0dLuSt: Feb 6 2011, 09:01 PM |

QUOTE(kampoon @ Feb 7 2011, 10:39 AM) Normally FC will remain the same or better after remove the CAT. ur new muffler is S flow or Terus flow ??? Ur car power is better or same from the ori setup ??? Is there any engine check light turn on ?? i think its terus flow. power bettr but fuel is worse and sound also more bising. engine check light which light? the one with the oil? @steven: o2 sensor where? he cut the nose and tail of the catcon and weld it to the bullet there. or maybe there are leak in the system? i've done my muffler and de-cat at wei yip balakong... ya i think so.. so wat do u recommend to get me a better fc. do rm50 of ron97 (rm2.50/litre) to a 45 km city driving is bad FC? i'm thinking of re doing my exhaust (checking for leaks or faulty o2 sensor) or getting a safc? T__T

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Feb 8 2011, 11:11 AM) not normal~ city driving oso can get at least 11 - 11.5 km/liter. You are getting abt 10+ km/l on highway~ thats y.. i dunno y. wanna check the sensor later on. it effects my city driving (short distance) even worse. T___TAdded on February 8, 2011, 11:12 am lolz~ the things we do for gurls~ sad kan... |

QUOTE(mxsteven @ Feb 15 2011, 10:52 PM) 1st o2 is 60cm after extractor and 2nd o2 sensor is after the cat-con. tq steve~ our o2 is 4wire. 2 wire = without heater 4 wire = with heater FYI Heated o2 sensor works more efficient than non heated. Added on February 15, 2011, 10:53 pmOwh jerry.... what a luck... screw her with justice and your dignity hahahaha wrrr Jerry... i remember accident in private car park is a bit headache to claim both party insurance... just becareful of their words |
