QUOTE(mxsteven @ Jun 10 2011, 10:15 AM) 26k for 2002 Waja is too expensive because im selling mine 2003 Waja for only 22k. The gear box wil cost u about 3k This shop allow me to trade in my kancil with higher price to exchange for Waja. Even through the waja price is high but consider the car condition it still the best value i can find in kuching. They said they will fix the gear problem for me. Can it be trusted? cause u said it will cost around rm3000 for the problem. thx

Anyone got source for a good alternator. I think my one is not charging properly liao. My battery not even one year already kong. It feels like the timing between battery changes is becoming shorter and shorter.

Is that normal? should be okay but if the sound intrusion into cabin is too obvious or with humming sound to the ear, it's could be an early sign of worn out arm bushes and engine mounting.

QUOTE(DaBestOne @ Jun 14 2011, 12:09 PM) does engine oil affect rpm? not affect rpm but affect ur revvability since some oil is berat (likat) and some oil is ringan (cair). so some oil do help ur car rev easily... sifus plz correct me if im wrong =) This post has been edited by blo0dLuSt: Jun 14 2011, 12:32 PM

It feels like the timing between battery changes is becoming shorter and shorter. you cant determine the alternator by this method, if the alternator main stator and main rotor insulation and resistance is ok it should last... maybe the alternator regulator borad no good but how can you tell when you dont have volt meter in your car. on idling charging your car should have about 13.4Vrms while driving above 1500 RPM you should also get 13~14v constant if you getting lower than 13v while driving, just consider to replace your alternator or repair the alternator regulator. Im still checking with JPJ and Puspakom, it is possible to register any engine within cc requirement and without altering the stock mounting position regardless of engine made. QUOTE(GearX_SaM @ Jun 14 2011, 10:14 PM) Normal Castrol 20-50, maybe too thick d? Millage almost clock 200k d lo woo. also dunno. me use 10w-40... 300k milage.. any sifus help? The numbers are the viscosity (thickness) of the oil. The lower the number, the thinner (more runny) it is. i think ur oil is thicker than mine.. steven: i las hear its ok with any engine as long as not more than 20% increase in cc and no mounting modification... dunno la if suda tuka This post has been edited by blo0dLuSt: Jun 14 2011, 10:25 PM
