fuel tank bracket checked. clips under the speaker board not yet. currently away in kota kinabalu. will check it once am back in kl.
the problem only happened when turning your steering to left / steer the car to left?
any leak on absorber? i was using sapura proride abs before and it had a tendency to become 'squeaky' after it hardened.
did you check the steering bush and absorber link(dog bone, literally) as well? make sure to use the same type on left and right side. in some case, an uneven tire wear / type will bring out the problem but this is rare.
check your arb bushes too.
if the squeaking sound also happened when the car is stationary while steering the wheels to left, most probably 'carrefour syndrome' @ squeaking steering sound caused by the slightly mismatch steering hose installed by proton on earlier batch of waja 4g18p. changing the steering hose to correct ones settled the problem.

No leaking on absober. Dog bone, absober mounting changed. My happen even standstill, i think could be due to the so called carrefour syndrome. Any photo to show which steering hose to change? Mine is year 2001 model. Btw how the carrefour syndrome names comes from? biggrin.gif

they simply call it carrefour syndrome because the noise is very obvious especially when you drive over the carrefour car park area. its the return hose or something. the replacement ones is slightly stiffer so that it will be able to hold the pressure and did not shake and touch another surface when there is a vibration.

with campro, since cant remap yet.. need to atleast use custom exhaust system and install piggyback like unichip Q, then the car will be abit fun to drive.. i say abit only.. still cannot tapau all other modded cars.. but atleast you'll be faster then most p1/p2 stock cars below 1.6cc..
