will be changing mine to open pod by next week.. but i'll be using back the original plastic outlet/pipe flowing the air to the throttle body.. just for the box only u want??

spend a fortune on my ol' waja already.
from pu bushes to diy soundproofing and 4g93t with 4g92 head.
hence, could not bring myself to let it go. now being used by my sister to office back in kl. detune to 0.6 bar.

only problem was the 'cricket' like sound from the rear(left side). already changed the arms, suspension, bushes, dismantle and tightened the seat, spare tire, zippers and checked for loose screw but sound still there.
you have any idea to settled the problem?

i'm using automatic Waja.

Suddenly since last week, it's very hard to pull the gear from P to R. But from R to D,3,2,1 is just smooth.
Anyone has any idea what's going on?

mmm mine is 2003 model.... and i had it up to my neck with this noise.... it is so hard to comprehend that it is due to the return hose, i had to order the return hose, it is out of stock for now in proton part centre... waiting for it to be stocked up. when u changed it, how different were the old part and the new one? any difference in shape or anything like that?

fuel tank bracket checked. clips under the speaker board not yet. currently away in kota kinabalu. will check it once am back in kl.
the problem only happened when turning your steering to left / steer the car to left?
any leak on absorber? i was using sapura proride abs before and it had a tendency to become 'squeaky' after it hardened.
did you check the steering bush and absorber link(dog bone, literally) as well? make sure to use the same type on left and right side. in some case, an uneven tire wear / type will bring out the problem but this is rare.
check your arb bushes too.
if the squeaking sound also happened when the car is stationary while steering the wheels to left, most probably 'carrefour syndrome' @ squeaking steering sound caused by the slightly mismatch steering hose installed by proton on earlier batch of waja 4g18p. changing the steering hose to correct ones settled the problem.
