Isn't it typical that the ones with power have contradicting policies and enforcement strategies...
 I have always said that HID is totally illegal, even for those imported or factory installed ones need approval from JPJ... At the end of the day, it still boils down to the person(s) that stops your vehicle... if they wanna let you off, or they wanna "saman" you officially or otherwise... irregardless of 4300K ka or above...  That still didnt stop me installing 6000K into all my rides...  |

about the HID, they hv alots of reason to stop/ summons u..
last time, i used the 8000k [blue color] in my kenari... they alwayz kacao me...then i finally change the bulb to 3300k yellowish bulb... but JPJ still block me! i called to JPJ and ask, they said: tak kisah u tukar apa bulb kecuali ORIGINAL ikut kereta mali, ITU ILLEGAL! tis is my experience.. keke Added on February 16, 2011, 8:56 pmoh ya! bro bro! who wanna change lancer GT front and rear bumper.. can ask me, my fren offer me wif a nice price [ outside tak dapat ] hahaha..! i wanna change 1... but my 'jpj' - girlfriend not approve... aiz~ so for who interesting, call me ya~ forget to mention, MATERIAL = ORI lancer gt, White , used for a week.. I still prefer proton inspira over kia cerato anyday, no offence, i made the choice to wait for lancer rebadge launching over 1 1/2 years (when i got the news) rather than place a booking for cerato although i was quite interested in it at first, so glad i made that choice
