Digi issue la. I use Digi on my Android, HTC Desire.
@ home or office, I always disconnected from DaTa.

I just found out about es file explorer. Use it to open files residing on my home pc thru LAN. Works great & it just detects my pc straightaway without any settings. This is just what i'm looking for

Btw, how do u set default program to open?

These are the steps I took :
Download the EXT4 TAR file from HERE
Launch Odin 1.7 , in PDA select the TAR file ( do not select the ‘repartition’ option)
Odin completed, the TAB reset and freeze on TAB logo – is a normal condition . I switch it off ( hold down power button for 5 secs )
Go to Recovery Mode ( Press down VolumeUp button and switch on TAB )

--- i need to connect tab as what to be flashed with odin?
TAB reset and perform the EXT4 conversion ; you can see all the conversion progress on screen
Once completed, the TAB Reboot.

Overcome v1.2 is really smooth form me. Battery life is really commendable as it is really impressive even if WIFI is turned on. One thing that we miss is Honeycomb, if Overcome just could be based on Honeycomb.

How do we check if we've change our FS to EXT4???

Hi there, i have the difference experince with you. While turn on the wifi and USE to surf net, battery drain very rapidly, around 10% for 10 minutes surfing.
How abt while you plug-in to charge the TAB? Do you realise when you plug-in without turm off the screen manually, the TAB won't charge or take very long time to charge?

I also experience this, damn annoying..... if switch to GSM only then you wont face this. ((

Added on February 28, 2011, 8:59 pmI'd say this are telco issues.I have tested on Digi : prepaid voice cum data sometimes have this problem. Digi internet data only package no such issue. Celcom postpaid voice/data no such issue

Thanks bro. Its it the process of converting now. Scare me to death just now when I try to flash the tar file and its hanging there. The reason was the tar file that I download was incomplete. Thought I've bricked my tab.

Are you on overclock ? I notice OC will have all the issues you mentioned but the TAB will still cahrge even with display on. Charging times is slower
I am now also using Overcome 1.2 without OC - battery life is very good. Overnight with some apps refreshing data previously I'd record a battery usage of about 20 % drop from midnight to 7 am. On Overcome 1,2 the usage was only about less than 10 %

What i was mentioned is without OC. And the drainage only happen while wifi open to surf net.
My overnight battery drain is acceptable, around 5% for 6 hours with wifi and 3G turn off.
Not one here have the charginf problem? It could be charge well after off the screen light manually.

Launcher Pro/Samsung Home not pop-up when pressing Home button...already reinstall Launcher Pro, but still fail...anyone can help me on this?

I'm not having this issue. I could charge my phone without turning off the light

anyone encounter,when press camera...whole screen is black,only appears those icon on the side,but it able to take picture, den need to restart only return to normal...

how to overclock eh? i am on overcome 1.2. couldn't find an app to oc it.

about the screen when charging, mine dont have any problem.

start yesterday using Modaco kernel EXT4 and Overcome 1.3.3 ROM, until now don't hav any issue..

Setting/application
locate app you want to be default homescreen
clear default for those you dont wish
or you can use app homeswitcher to decide which app you need to be home launcher

Are u sure Overcome ROM version is 1.3.3 ?
