guys, please choose between 80-200 and 70-200... and state ur reason... appreciate ur input..

80-200 and you have plenty of cash left to get other primes.
70-200 if you think it's really that awesome and one lens can beat other primes

i also would choose 80-200 since its cheaper...one day la when i get more money

I will choose 70-200 n stop buying lens for 2 years, hahaa..... mayb I'm juz poisoned by the number of 70-200

or perhaps 70-300? IQ wise?

70-300 sorry la. Rather get 80-200

70-300 VR is ok la, 2nd hand rm1.5k or less.
focuses faster than the 80-200...unless of cos its two touch version.
low light obviously suffers abit, but then all depends on ur needs.

another person i know has tried 70-300VR with two touch...says almost the same.

70-300 got one touch ?

One touch = push pull le.
And push pull 80-200 is the lousiest in 80-200 range
push pull cost less than 2k

got 1 guy on ftz selling the newer D version for rm3.5k...2mths old with local warranty.
pity tripod collar cannot be removed on that.

1)kit lens 18-105mm VR
2)tamron 17-50mm f2.8 VC
3)sigma 17-70 f2.8-4 OS HSM Macro
4)others ?

looking for a good all-around lens and focal length is not a problem as I shoot mostly landscape, street photography and portrait. The Sigma 17-50 f2.8 would be better but it's out of my budget.

take the nikkor 18-200 lor. great allrounder lens
