I am curious whether this incident will affect my Amex 15% Cash Back for my February usage of RM1000 at the selected mall dated 05-02-2011.

Has anyone ever redeemed your shopping voucher at those on-the-spot outlets using your Maybank credit card ? How is it done ? Do we need a PIN or something ?

I redeemed at Carefour before. No PIN required.

The procedures are the same as you perform a redemption at Maybank CC centre at Maybank Tower or 1U.

Could you please explain further ? I've not done this before. Not even at Maybank credit card centre.

My M2card approved on 7th Feb, but until now, still didn't get the card, CS said the card at Pavillion Maybank, but pavillion maybank inform that the card no with them.

7th February or 7 March? Anyway both also more than a week, call CS and tell them cards not at Pavilion.

February. This card was approved from FB 'Im interested', i do not about this, until this monday, i call to apply m2card via phone, only know that, this card have been approved without inform me.

Finally, I received another RM33 for the 15% cash back for December. And this time around, Amex sent me an official letter with apologies and explanations. If it was not ordered by BNM, I do not think Amex would entertain my complaint.

By the way, I am still awaiting the 15% cash back for January.

What was the explanation?

The reason they gave was that the particular transaction (RM220) made on 1-12-10 was not recognised in their 15% cash back system, even though it was done in one of the participating shopping malls.

As for the 15% cash back for January, we have to wait a bit longer as many of us here have not received the cash back too. I will wait till the next statement date and then only lodge a complain to BNM.

Grats, my Dec and Jan is still pending, hopefully BNM pressure helps resolve it.

May I know how long it took since your first email to BNM until they credited?

I wrote to BNM on 25-2-11. BNM subsequently sent a letter to MBB on 28-2-11 instrcuting MBB to reply in 2 weeks. The letter that I received from MBB yesterday was dated 14-3-11.

my Jan cash back was finally received yesterday - 18/03, and they even gave me the extra one cent as opposed to round down to the nearest ringgit

wrote them an email last week and it got resolved, must be due to ur previous complaints to BNM

when is your 1st & last spending in jan? i spend all that is entitled on 6th january, but just check, still no cashback.

only 1 transaction - 9th january

mine on 2nd and my wife's on 13th. Already complaint twice and the complain is in the system. Hope I get the cash back before the next coming statement.

It seems that AMEX 10X points facing some problem. I was dinning at one of the 10X points restaurant last few days, and the transaction has being posted to M2U, but only I got it 2X points. Called to CS, they said they will check for me....

This is not the 1st time the 10X points being credited at 2X points..
