I'm having a problem with my phone these few days.. I have been getting delayed SMSes, which I have enquired at Maxis bt they assure me that it's a network problem that will be solved soon.. it was OK a few days later, but now it started back again... furthermore, sometimes people can't even contact me even my phone is on... Maxis told me it might be a SIM card or phone problem, asked me to restart phone or change to other phone to use... I had tried those steps but it's still the same; and I don't alwaz hv a second phone ready to change SIM card slots... can this b a phone problem rather than a network problem? Cuz when I switch phones, it tends to be OK... some advice please... :-)

Hard reset? How to do it? My inbox is hardly full at all as I usually delete my messages by the end of the day... As of now, there's only 10 message in my inbox... My memory still a lot... Sigh, the problem has resurfaced, how am I suppose to keep in touch with people this way? It's been a hassle...

do a factory reset..not hard reset..

reset the phone to factory settings. it might have been something you did somehow or one of the apps ... I don't know

It's not a commonly used tool partly because it exists after most people have rooted using the method in the XDA wiki.

Due to the efficacy of the XDA wiki guide, i would recommend sticking to it.

I dunno about you guys, but when I decided to join the Android bandwagon, I've already told myself not to depend too much on manufacturers. Afterall the fun of Android is the non-stock elements.

If you decide to do the dark path, there's some serious Sense 3.0 candy waiting (something HTC said is impossible to implement on 'older' HTC androids).

OC to 1.5 GHz and running with it since i s-off and root it early of june

yea.. but i duno y... no matter how i try i still go back to sense... CM7 is smooth as silk but the UI experience is poor, further more i don like Launcher Pro, most of them bundle with it...
and further more u can OC ur unit, u can back up a lot of things with root too...
