superwipe is here http://j.mp/qFDHa0 flash it in recovery. superwipe completely erase the device to ensure clean install state, it was first developed by devs for T-Mobile G1 (the first android phone), because normal wiping of every partitions through recovery did not solve certain issues.

superwipe first (it will prompt you to reboot to recovery before flashing a new rom if i am not mistaken, important step), do a fresh install. let it load up for 5 minutes, and restart your phone to emulate the situation. if it stays in a bootloop, we can go discuss at xda for help from tsubus nod.gif

btw, mind sharing your current setup? radio version, clockwormod recovery version

lol, time to use titanium backup from this time onwards, schedule it to run every week, or every month.

do a fresh install, because we want to ensure that the ROM is not affected in anyway. If the problem persists even after a fresh install, then we'll know there is something wrong with the ROM

i'll restart again to make sure it is fine coz im OCD like that tongue.gif , hahahaaha. Sensation? i have a feeling that HTC would unleash HTC Amaze to the world, well hopefully. Amaze and newer devices has that new backlit camera ala-Experia Arc n iPhone 4s. not sure if Sensation has it as well, but if it does, it'll be a good all rounder device rclxms.gif

Did you restore settings from a previous non-CM7 ROM? Usually that's the culprit for bootloops.

Work to port ICS SDK just started. It's a for-fun thing la since SDK ports usually are superseded by a proper port.

I've reached my breaking point... phone performing so badly using the stock ROM. Finally attempted to root it (rage + gfree), surprisingly easy to do. Running on Virtuous Unity ROM with Sense 3D. Loving how much smoother my phone is now. My notifications and notification light is kinda screwy, not too sure why...

Should I overclock it?

Technical note for virtuous states, "Virtuous. overclocking daemon will automatically be disabled if an overclocking tools (such as SetCPU or CPU Tuner) is installed. Installing these tools is not advised, as the virtuous_oc daemon responds far more rapidly to screen state changes than any Android (Java) application"

Guys,

any idea on how to change the caller ID picture size from Facebook on a stock Sense?
The pictures look like it was taken from a minecraft version of the person. tongue.gif
