Is there anyway can directly root the DZ with android version 2.3.3 Built 2.42.405.2?

nope, you need to downgrade first to Froyo (2.2) version and then root. look in the first post in this thread for the links on how to do it. Remember to read the guide thoroughly before doing it. Good luck

yesterday my a7272 give me a headache...it doesnt wanna turn on even though i did so many things...i also try hard reset but stil nothing happen...at 1st i thought that the battery got problem..so i try using others battery..also can not turn on...

so now i dont know what to do.. i tried contact the seller who sells this phone to me last tym but no answer...huh...


u guyz know what happen to my phone??


n before this, this phone also sometimes turn off itself which required me to pull out the battery n then turn on again..but now..it dead forever..huhu

but i'm very sure that this phone is never been drop or flash/root...i leave it in stock condition n use it carefully...huh...

bcoz i bought my phone from him n when i wanna claim my warrnty, he ask to get from Tan Keng Beng which he claim to be his supplier..wtf...how come he doesnt wanna be responsible to the item that he sell...which i bought this phone new unit..not the used one

I already purchased it. used almost 3 weeks. looks like stock battery for me because i use mobile data 24/7. btw, if you guys purchase Sun Global Li-ion Battery 1850 mAh, you need modify a bit since battery's slot on phone got stopper.

There's some issues with the HTC Vision kernel being incompatible with AOSP Android 4.0. Mainly the touchscreen. I'm jelly at the pace the Hummingbird phones are getting.

Anyone tried the Samsung port of ICS? the new release 4.2 is stable. Except for market you need some fix and camera is not working.

Other then that, physical keyboard and software keyboard are all up and functioning.

No problem with Wifi & 3G as well.

But I won't use it yet for daily use because of the Camera not functioning. (:

If you want a better and original release, you should wait for our on dev to release theirs version of ICS. I believe it should be up within a week or two.

eh the aosp v3 is out. damn its good. just that camera is still out of it. but damn. its so good.

The moment camera is fixed, I'll be hopping on it. Probably will do a test run this weekend.

Haha not yet la. I'm aiming my crosshair at the Galaxy Nexus. As soon as CM9 start building for it I'll be getting one.
But in the meantime, the HTC Vision still rocks my world.

Not easy to find in malaysia. May have to ask those spring manufacturers (but they sell in bulks minimum usually).
