They'd better not charge in aussies too, as I am gonna study there from next month onwards tongue.gif

I herds that the accidental warranty couldn't be claimed anywhere but US, is it true?

Hi, thanks for the INSTANT response~! Whao, fast and heart warming. XD
I got it from http://www.portableone.com/index.asp
They have the option to 'run a check' (chargeable) before delivery. Somehow, my HDD failed, luck sigh. Well, thankfully Asus covered them GLOBALLY as they promised, thumbs up. smile.gif

Agree. No contact lenses. Perhaps Asus should release NON 3D GLASSES gaming notebooks. brows.gif

hmmm , feeling a lil uneasy here, just now i was running my black ops multiplayer a couple of times , a few times.

The game crashed for the 1st time and for the second time it runs smoothly, but i got disconnected from the internet. So as for the 3rd time i ran it , it crashed again. So i restarted the computer .

When the computer restarted, and i logged in to windows , while i am on the logging in screen it says " PREPARING DESKTOP "

I went in to Windows and i saw all my icons are huge , like the default medium size. I lost my black ops Icons / files and some other programs.

I restarted the comp again and it didn't work.

Restarted it for the second time , and everything went back to normal.however black ops starts to lag even in solo mode , and so does my other programs like 3d max and Photoshop.

I did not reformatted my comp for the bloat wares but Just removed them via control panel. Wonder it has anything to do with it .

Anyone experienced this b4? Was thinking shud i send to Computer shop to get it reformated and checked as i am leaving for my studies way bellow soon.

Firstly, black ops is a bad benchmark game as it also lag and crash on mine. Try games like bad company 2. It's stable and could give a good indication.

By the way, did you upgrade your drivers?

Hmm, i think you should go G73.. 1920 x 1080 on 15.6" screen is a little bit stretching my eyes.. but then you should be prepared.. I believe G73 is quite big-sized for a laptop..
