QUOTE(DoubleU @ Jan 17 2011, 07:43 PM) ur cd key is on the bottom of your laptop. You can download the win 7 iso, select the correct version (home premium) and install it back, and use your cd key. Hmm , if i were to get a pirated Win7 and use the original CD key provided with the laptop , will it work ? The instructions should be on the link Jeffery gave you QUOTE(Jeffrey1987 @ Jan 17 2011, 08:00 PM) Sure man! but at the moment let me reconfigure my laptop 1st |

And it voids warranty.Sure man! but at the moment let me reconfigure my laptop 1st |

Brought over from V2:
Guys, need some help here on G73JW. Bought an external USB 3.0 hdd casing 2.5" 500GB 7200rpm Plugged into g73 usb3.0 port, the drive doesn't appear. Got another brand usb3.0 hdd casing, after plug in, able to detect the drive. When copying files, it lasts for about 5-10seconds, then it will get disconnected and reconnect. Any of you guys have such problems? My previous envy17 was having exactly same problem sad.gif P.S - BIOS have set to xHCI for Usb 3.0 as well Any help is greatly appreciated. Any of you have successfully use usb 3.0 external hdd? Let me know how you did it. Thanks |

your external case has a power souce? i think if its 500GB or under, dun need external power source, one of the benifits of USB 3.0 is the 5V power you get from it.
