I applied for 4 housing loans in August and all were approved. In the end I only accepted one of them. But all the 4 loans and their approved amounts are shown in my credit report, under the "Application for Credit" section.
*
hmm.gif , I applied for 3 and all approved, but when i print out my report, only the one I accepted is shown
however the other 2 banks have sent me letters to inform the offer has expired and has been withdrawn prior to the report being print out

All my cc pass the test tongue.gif
However, I still don't find any usefulness of the test.
It is very unlikely the bank will issue illegal cards.
I say very unlikely, I don't rule out the chances of crime OK. laugh.gif

RM98 ? Because the last two digits of your approval code are 9 and 8 respectively ?

Anyway, i swiped RM300+ on Friday around 11am. Sent the sms in around 1pm and received a reply that they got an overwhelming response and all the RM17k has been given out sad.gif

Hi, I have one question regarding the SCB's CC promotion scheme.
SCB's offer gurantee gift promotion with a mimuium spending of RM4000.00. On-going installment payment is excluded. How about new instalment scheme. Let say a transaction cost RM 3600.00 and divide into 12 instalments with each instalment RM 300.00 per month.
How to calculate the amount to be included into the min spending of RM4000.00? Is it RM3600.00 or RM300.00. Could someone confirm for this. Thanks.

I requested a replacement card for my Visa Petronas. The card is physically damaged and it's going to be split into half soon. I didn't notice such defect till yesterday; perhaps it is damaged by the self-kiosk slot machine because my other card in the wallet is still intact.

Cash rewards and reward points are more or less the same actually. Just that some banks offer much higher cash rewards (OCBC Titanium MasterCard comes to mind) or reward points (Maybankard 2 AMEX comes to mind).

By the way guys, i just found out that we can settle our 0% IPP with HSBC early without incurring any penalty charges rclxms.gif Guess i don't have to wait until next year to cut my HSBC MasterCard then.

According to my knowledge of BT, your method of avoiding early exit fee must be 'leaving certain months of minimum payment (RM50 or 5% whichever higher)', am I right?

Let say you purchased a DSLR for RM6000, installment 12months. Each month pay RM500.
After paying 9 months of installment (RM4500), you feel like wanna settle the installment. To avoid being charged early exit fee, you must leave a balance of RM6000*5%*3month=RM900 in the cc account. For simpler calculation, please avoid any retail trxn afterwards.

Above is just my case study. It does not make any financial advice.

CIMB WMC application - 1 hour processing only. Normal cc type - Citibank 2 hour but you need to apply at the Ampang branch.
Next time don't be lazy ... read to find out. This is not a spoon feeding thread, no excuses.

In the reply i got from their online support officer, he said that their won't be any charges whatsoever. The reason i want to settle the 0% IPP early is because i plan to cancel the card before its anniversary month.

If i'm not mistaken, you must send it in on the same day. Go to their website and download this promotion T&C PDF file.

Currently at The Curve has a 1-hour Citibank CC application approval so that you can spend immediately.

How fast is the redemption of SCB ChoicePoints into RM25 cash with 5000 points ?
