cimb, if u pay more than statement balance, it will deduct to recent transaction.
but if u didnt swipe at all till next statement, then yes, it will deduct the next month installment amount.

agree. if have the priviledges, it should shows in the website to attract more cust.

i got my da upgrade from gold to plat too before. but no problem with cimbclicks. even my discontinued (cancelled) gold and cancelled visa plat still there.

Maybank and Maybank Islamic come with different CL, I m holding Maybank credit cards and Maybank Islamic credit card.

I have called and speak with the CS, and he confirmed that if i'm gonna apply for maybankard 2, i will get separate credit limit.

However, this CS when i ask him for conversion of my islamic amex to maybankard 2, he said it was not possible at the moment and he suggest to apply new one and cancelled the present amex when the new one is approved.

I think to call and ask again to see his version is tally with the next CS.

yes. just replied to Gen-X "no matter how many card you have with MBB, the CL for all cards are combiined..."

for me, mbb should have no prob upgrade mbb amex (amex with TP, not MR) such as pantai to this maybankard 2 amex.

ikhwan might not possible coz this maybankard 2 is not under maybank islamic.
so, the easiest way is as suggested - apply new maybankard 2 and cancel the current ikhwan.

Go to Citibank main branch in Jalan Ampang. Credit card can be approved within an hour. Alternatively, if you earn at least RM200k per annum. You can apply for a CIMB/DA World MasterCard or VISA Infinite at CIMB Bank credit card service centre at Pavillion, Sunway Pyramid or Damansara Heights and you can get your card within an hour too just like Citibank.

The CS officer advised me that the fastest way is to download the application form from M2U website and fax it directly to MBB Card Centre.

For CIMB card, is it only applicable for CIMB/DA World MasterCard or VISA Infinite?
How about normal Gold card?

I heard it is possible to get instant platinum card at DA Card Centre in Damansara Heights. I would suggest you to contact the centre first before you decide to apply for CIMB/DA card.

You might correct as i just called again and the lady CS' words tallys with previous CS. i guess that i will follow the suggested way that to apply new maybankard 2 and cancel the ikhwan plus ask them to transfer the TP after has been approved.

i might wait for the maybankard 2 mastercard. Guess i have to wait until april.

I have some credit cards with pretty high limit, but then again I really cannot think of how it is going to be useful to me.

I ever asked if I could pay even the downpayment for a house using CC, they said no. Cars dealers as afaik, they don't accept it.

I wanted to invest with an international investment company, also they don't accept credit card.

What's the use of bank assigning high credit limit? I don't buy expensive luxury items, I don't survive on credit card. The high credit limit doesn't seem to serve its purpose. Except for some ppl who might want to have a boost on their ego...

For maybank 2 amex card, they stated this at amex web site.
