QUOTE(winner @ Jan 19 2011, 06:43 PM) Wow, this Maybankard 2 is super HOT! I was away for 2 days but more than 10 pages have already been created because of this card. And of course, I won't miss the boat. Anyway, the second card, namely MBB VISA/MC is useless. While the first card, MBB Amex is very sexy to me. I'll dump my Amex Gold cc soon after I obtain the 15% cash back in full and redeem all the points. thking the same as u maybe you shud stay away for another 2 days, then CIMB might come out with something even better also waiting for my renewal JustOne, hope it is still available and not simply replace with some other SCB card, else no point keeping. on the other hand, maybe launching an improved JustOne will be better This post has been edited by alexwsk: Jan 19 2011, 07:02 PM

Is that the MBB 2 AMEX and MBB 2 Visa can apply now..? or need to wait till April?
I notice from the website .... if so, then it's nothing different from the OCBC Titanium..
5% Weekend cash back² when spend on Maybankard 2 American Express Card. ²A cap of RM50 per customer (Principal Cardmember) per month

The other compulsory Maybankard 2 VISA Platinum will serve as backup in case of non-acceptance of MC and Amex.

If you opt for Visa, then you can get it now (after your application is approved). OCBC Titanium MC's 5% cash back is applicable to spending for petrol, grocery, utility bills and restaurant bills all day long, whereas Maybankard 2 Amex CC's 5% cash back is given to all retail transactions made during weekends.

This time MBB really put great efforts in stimulating domestic spending Well done, MBB.

The card features are good, but the service is not necessarily good.

CIMB used to be very aggressive two years back, but been very arrogant since last year. From housing loan to credit card.

QUOTE(ben83 @ Jan 19 2011, 08:51 PM) CIMB used to be very aggressive two years back, but been very arrogant since last year. From housing loan to credit card. Last year CIMB was very active and aggressive in promoting premium cards like WMC and VI to the mass market. I don't think their new product, VS, will be a big hit.

Maybankard 2.. Interesting... I've been using Petronas Ikhwan Visa for a while now, primarily for fuel only. If I convert to 2, I'll switch to Shell. So still 5X TP for fuel.

wonder if we can convert existing maybank cc and amex gold cc to these 2 cards without the need to apply and submit application again? Added on January 19, 2011, 10:09 pmQUOTE(jack2 @ Jan 19 2011, 10:05 PM) wonder if we can convert existing maybank cc and amex gold cc to these 2 cards without the need to apply and submit application again? Just checked with CS. Can convert without the need to reapply. Just go to branch and submit the conversion form. This post has been edited by jack2: Jan 19 2011, 10:09 PM
