hi guys.. i've been browsing these thread..too many info until my head spin. I'm totally noob on watches.
I'm not a watch collector & currently i only own a Seiko Kinetic..hehe.
i think its high time that i add a dress watch and also a crono..therefore

i need advise from you guys on how to go about this..as from what i read.. it's more cheaper to buy outside of shop eg. from online & grey importers. My budget is arounf rm1.3k each.
Thanks in advance.

Boutiques should be getting it sometime late this month or early-Oct maybe (that was what the salesgirl told me when I was there some many weeks ago). You can be damn hell sure that it won't be cheap though biggrin.gif

I'm guessing mid to late teens.

As a reference, here are the Aussie prices (should be cheaper in KL):-

QUOTE
I went back in today - here's the AUD retail prices (45.5mm versions only). Please sit down before you read on, I don't want to be responsible for any accidents.

3 hander - orange or grey bezel on bracelet: AUD$7325
Chrono - orange or grey bezel on bracelet: AUD$9725

Not yet in stock, release date in Australia TBA:
Blue Ti on blue rubber strap three hander: AUD$9300
Blue Ti on blue rubber strap chrono: AUD$11,675
(Sorry, I didn't get the prices for these on bracelets)

1AUD$ = 1.05USD$ (approx.)

This watch actually attracts my attention, a very clean and crisp lookign chrono, maybe need to swap to a nicer strap.

UHR listed it Euro399 inc 19% tax, does this mean they will discount the 19% tax due to selling it overseas?

Oh and its save buying form the site directly ya?

19% is the VAT tax. If you ship outside of EU, the tax is deducted which means the price is now (price with VAT) / 1.19, if I am not mistaken.
UHR watches are only available online.

That's what I was hoping, as we get VAT refund at the airport when we buy stuffs from Europe. Hmm.. that woudl make the watch a tad under RM1.5k (despite the super weak ringgit these 2 days), very nice indeed.

I just bought this because I find it fascinating. It looks more opulent than any Lange or Patek.

The price is about a quartz Seiko from Seiya.

Added on September 15, 2011, 12:54 amThe engraving on this makes the little bit on Lange's balance cock look like a cruel joke

It actually still works.

yes U don't pay VAT, U need to pay shipping
ppl have bought on UHR.info without issue. UHR.info will not cheat your money if U are worrying. Fedex/DHL will make sure item arrive you safely, but the cost to ship is EUR$29.50
