Spent the whole evening having this bloody watch twinkling in my face. It's an Omega, like the moonwatch but without the chrono function. It has a saphire crystal, and i almost forgot how reflective uncoated saphire is.

I am convinced now that acrylic is a better choice then uncoated saphire.

Belongs to the CFO.

Added on September 7, 2011, 11:57 pmoh btw the cfo came in a suit, if anyone wants to know.

he gingerly took it off, held it by the collar then carefully folded it before placing in on the seat beside him. it is a bespoke.

Added on September 8, 2011, 12:01 amthe omega is very twinkly! the hour indices sparkle incessantly.

I'm sorry but were there supposed to be pictures accompanying your post? It would be interesting to see a Speedy (since you said "like the moonwatch", I'm gonna assume it's a Speedmaster) without a chrono. Not quite SPEEDmaster anymore without the tachymetre to measure speed is it? tongue.gif

Speedy without chrono function is not a Speedy. I am guessing perhaps a Seamaster AT or even a Deville?

Hi guys, I'm planning to get Heuer 300SLR limited edition. But I read thru previous post, seems like Tag Heuer is not really 'worth' buying. Is my understand right? To be honest I placed the deposit. But I still can use deposit to get a ladies watch for my wife. So I would like listen your view on this piece before i decide my next action. Thanks

How much is it ? Yeah, not really worth to get Tag.

Almost got myself a Carrera earlier this year. Took my friend advice, save a little more and got myself a Panerai flex.gif

and glad that i never got a tag.

I was quoted SGD7700 before discount. I think this is in house movement unlike those normal carreras. But yet this will not be the everyday watch IMO..

In term of design I kind of like this piece but yet I would like know whether this piece worth to get as an collector items and maybe wear it in some occasion.

Speedy is white dial right?
Get the 1887 black dial to match it rclxms.gif The 3D effect on dial is damn nice.

Nah. Not really like white dial. The speedy is carbon dial, this is bronze dial. Maybe I should get this because of this leather strap as my speedy is in bracelets.. brows.gif brows.gif
