z5500 is okay
try Edifier S550 first because they are cheaper...
but if you like z5500 sound quality then only choose z5500

hi my center speaker for z 5500 i think got problem, because when people speak in movie, the sound like "broken" especially when low pitch voice, it becomes more obvious.
anywhere i can repair it or get a replacement for the center speaker only?

anybody know where to get stands that can be used with the z5500..?

more gaming go for Z5500.. because it great on Woofer not sound... if for music take Edifier 550...

haha..didn't know there's a thread for Logitech Z-680..i have been using my Z-680 for more than 6 years and am still impressed with it...changed the stock cable to QED 75 strand cable and still going strong
got slight hissing from day 1 though

For movies also,that subwoofer is sure damn sexy

hi guys i want to ask, which one should i take for gaming, movies and also listening to music. should i take 2.1 or 5.1 ? actually i have two choices for 5.1

x-540 and g51 which one is better ?

and about the THX Certified is it has so much differences ?

my z-5500 also problem for 6ch direct no sound so stereo and stereo x2 can be use ruming sound so miss 6ch direct i can send need pay again RM80 sigh last time i send z-5500 problem sound noise so after 1 month ago i got received now problem 6ch direct

so today i got received morning 12pm proof u can see track number 1Z9FY1750495026676 for UPS Tracking

i have tested the new control pod now i tested frist time i set effect stereo now sound ruming and i set effect stereo x2 now sound ruming and i set effect PL2 movies now no sound and i set effect PL2 Music now no sound and i set effect 6ch direct now still no sound but stereo and stereo x2 both sound ruming too
my old control pod almost still same stereo and stereo x2 still ruming sound but 6ch direct still no sound

that is both new control pod and old control pod still same but still no solve
my control pod old is good already almost same
i think z-5500 problem

Just buy a new set la....... you speaker got so many problem, not tat expensive to get a new one.

i dont buy new logitech z-5500 because a lot problem but subwoofer amplifier failure

i plan to get home theater so be no more problem
