i know this thread i for z-5500 im nt supposed to be here, just a quick question i just purchased a z-2300 2.1, is it advisable for me to change to a better sound card as im using my onboard sound to play movies and music will i notice a significant difference as for my old pc before i used sonic gear BT2X and a audigy 2 i noticed that the sonic gear cant take the sound produced by the card as the wooffer keep rattling and i cant enjoy full potential of the sound card will i experience the same if i upgrade my sound card just for the z-2300, hope the sifus here can help me.

yestaday my z-5500 i using stereo x2 bass is fine today i want play listering bass fine afther 15min now bass is low and subwoofer suda crap bass low and i set valume low i set again valume high wow the woofer crap crik crik crik alamak suda rosak i am very sad now
i off z-5500 now i using altec lansing atp3

warranty still available?
if got the send it back

if not,open up the amp to see if anything burnt or about to burn.
the fuse maybe close to burnt too

You open how loud? more than 50% is bad especially if ur room is hot....

the woofer crip crip for low valume when i try valume high wow the woofer pop 1times i fast 1sec set valume low then woofer crip crip too i dont try high valume if again pop i woory woofer will rosak
i am very sad no more bass
i have try change new fuse still same
the satelite sound is clear no crip just subwoofer only

sounded like a broken voice coil.
hmm... indeed... sounded like voice coil came off from the solenoid which causes it to vibrate and sounded trashy

time to change your speaker driver to a better one

as expected,something must have started to burn
your voice coil might have overheated and melt some glue,causing it to come off and rattle

i love louder for bass i dont want broke voice coil
any subwoofer strong without broke voice coil most be strong any tips
