Boleh aja cuba, cuma memerlukan sikit tahan mental sbb debian ada sikit berat dia punya susah berbanding Julia.

Tengok apa mint punya developer cakap

Cons:

* Although it’s using Romeo for unstable packages, LMDE continuously changes as it receives updates and new software. Compared to a frozen version of Linux Mint which changes very little once it’s publicly released, it’s not as stable. Things are likely to break more often but fixes can also come quicker. For this reason, LMDE requires a deeper knowledge and experience with Linux, dpkg and APT.

* Debian is a less user-friendly/desktop-ready base than Ubuntu. Expect some rough edges.

The iso dvd is a live dvd and installer as well. The things is, we won't feel the real kick if run from live session.

A DVD of course, heard that 32bit version is buggy and if you still want to use it, they will respin and release somewhere this month. However the 64bit free of bugs. Currently, do not download the 32bit unless the new spin is release. Read here http://blog.linuxmint.com/

You have to make the partition beforehand and choose it in the installer.

of course its possible to use unetbootin to create liveusb.. all this time i'm always using unetbootin to create liveusb and install from it. and i only found 1 distro that doesnt do well with unetbootin, aptosid...
ubuntu, linuxmint, lmde, slitaz, pclinuxos, archlive all works with unetbootin thumbup.gif
