I don't understand the reply from the bank CS. Does she/he mean that RM50 is the maximum rebate for ALL (kfc/guardian/tesco/etc)? btw, for DA card right, 2% rebate during the weekend..isit 2% plus points or only the rebate itself?
*
that means, the maximum rebate you can get in a month is RM50, no matter how much you have spent. The capping is applicable to petrol rebate as well.

despite lose out to ocbc Ti, DA MC is still a good card to keep.

but in my statement, each rebate is on different name. i got: 0038 REBATE-GIANT, 0038 CASH REBATE-TESCO PROMOTION, and 0041 REBATE-PURCHASES AT PETROL STN. but so far if i total all the rebate (within 1 month statement), never reach rm50 sweat.gif

Are the Choicepoints evergreen ?
*
Was there an answer? I think it is not as only the privileged banking card seems to have evergreen choice points. Anyone can confirm whether this is true or not?

Edit: Ok it is 3 years (it's on the 1st post)

I did get RM50 cash back using CIMB MasterCard back in November 2008 at ISETAN biggrin.gif In fact, it reached the maximum rebate on my first swipe alone and i had to use my Maybankard AMEX Gold to pay for the second time at ISETAN so i can get 2x Treatpoints instead of 1x CIMB bonus point.

Titanium cards are also acceptable. I have entered the premium washroom at The Gardens many times by showing my OCBC Titanium MC.

isn't that Digi EPP plan is combine together of phone value and bill value? i'm not sure about this

One of my friend earn quite high, around 3-4k per month, but every month spend until finish, because he need to settle car loan, rental, EPP for phone, EPP for sunglasses bla bla bla, i already advise him to cut down on spending because this commitment could kill him if he cannot sustain the income, he is doing sales line fyi.
This is how nowadays Y-Generation people spend, too attracted by the glamorous and forget the 4 basic thing of our life(Food, Car, House and Clothes) which u need the minimal to survive
*
for DiGi iPhone, well I sign up for the 24 months plan earlier this year for the iPhone 3GS where the amount is charged to my DA. The iPhone is used mainly for internet and calls never exceed the allocated minutes. Then few months back was at DiGi and I asked the can I sign up auto debit for my iPhone account eventho the bill is RM0 (since I know that I get RM5 discount for my BB RM58 plan) and was informed sure. So signed up for auto debit with my AMEX Gold CC and now the iphone account has more RM26 credit thumbup.gif

yah, EPP and other installement plans kind make us spend more and buy stuff we would otherwise cannot afford. I have mentioned before, sometimes we get discount if we were to swipe in full instead of going for EP with merchant. Last year Harvey Norman gave me RM100 discount for a HP tablet and more than RM300 for a cloth dryer on condition I don't do 0% installements with them. Was also given discount for furniture shop at Subang Parade if don't go for installments.

u so rich already, why need cash on call service or personal loan? tongue.gif
*
just sharing on the cash on call thingy. I just checked EON bank's cash on call. Pretty good if need cash, with the 1% cash back the interest is 3.99% for 12 months as mentioned by the telemarketer. The rate is even lower than my OD facilities. I can even make some money out of it - only if I can still get FD with interest paying 5%. Or if want to buy car and just need loan for 1 year tenure, this may be an option as car loans minimum tenure 3 years.

Just go to Sushi Zanmai lah. Good enough already. It's cheap (for Japanese food) and foods are generally fresh  biggrin.gif

for fusion food with Japanese flavour, Pasta Zamai cheaper. I just love the garlic fried rice with chicken.

QUOTE(David83 @ Dec 13 2010, 06:16 PM)
Ok so far I have got following by using MC, note must be a single swipe:

(1) Subang Parade - RM100 gets you 2 pop up christmas greetings card. Also qualify you for lucky draw.
(2) Pavillion RM500 gets you a small pouch, good for ladies to keep make up I suppose. [EON bank CC - RM300 get you a better gift, my EON card still not in my hands so didn't get anything from EON. CIMB giving hampers].
(3) Midvalley - RM250 get 1 token for 5 hours carpark. RM400 2 tokens get a mug. Applies to any HSBC too.
1U - nothing with MC and yesterday free calendar already finished for that day and it wasn't even noon time.

Pretty normal. Just like a washroom of 5-star hotel. It is still a public toilet anyway. smile.gif
