HSBC Malaysia doesn't issue World MasterCard.

err... this 1, confirm can get titanium? afraid they give visa gold or platinum mastercard? or we can choose titanium?

Mainly use mbb nowadays.

if u guys can call Citibank PM as Visa Signature... why can't I call my Premier World? since it really state a "WORLD" on the card... agree?

it's the first WMC in Malaysia.. just that most of us didn't notice it~ XD

HSBC Premier has the word "World" because HSBC standardized the card across all its Premier centres all over the world. Few places has the "World" standard namely Australia. Unfortunately Malaysia isn't one of where HSBC recognizes the card to be "World" status. In Malaysia it is more like a "Platinum" card.

Every HSBC Premier shares an identical design across the globe. The one issued by HSBC Malaysia, is not a World MasterCard despite what is written on it.


Yes. I have also seen the real physical card myself but still, HSBC Malaysia doesn't issue a World MasterCard. The HSBC Group only issues World MasterCard in USA, Australia and Japan. This is why in all other countries where a Premier MasterCard is also offered, it is simply marketed as HSBC Premier MasterCard instead of HSBC Premier World MasterCard.

Or else, HSBC could have sued CIMB Bank and MasterCard Worldwide for issuing such a misleading statement back in year 2008 that the World MasterCard has finally arrived in our shore and CIMB Bank is the first bank to issue such card. The first World MasterCard in Malaysia is CIMB Enrich World MasterCard.

The word WORLD is at the wrong place. Compare it to your MBB WMC for the correct placement of the word which makes it a WMC.

maybank cc. They offer us to break our credit amount to pay for monthly basis(with 9% annual interest right?).. So, my question is, are we allowed to choose how many month we desire of it is fixed(eg: 6month, 12, 24, 36 and so on?)

I believe MBF is losing their customers fast... introducing world doesn't really do they any good...
