i would like to ask you one question. let's say i am applying for my 3rd credit card ©, which scenario is better to get higher limit and better chance of being approved:

scenario 1

Card A: Fully utilized and been paying minimum

Card B: Almost fully utilized and paying minimum

or

scenario 2

Card A: no outstanding at all

Card B: no outstanding at all

Was told most banks prefer scenario 2, but some say they like customers in scenario 1 better so that they can earn from the interest. What do you think?
*
Scenario 1 would be the best bet.

Sales tax is not charged on the phone portion for Digi iPhone EPP, only on the monthly charges portion.

see the word "WORLD" ?  smile.gif

The word WORLD is at the wrong place. Compare it to your MBB WMC for the correct placement of the word which makes it a WMC. tongue.gif

It has nothing to do with the placement of the word "World". As mentioned earlier, HSBC Malaysia does not have WMC in Malaysia.
The word World exist because the card design is standardized all over the world for HSBC Premier card holders.
*
From a Google search, it appears there are WMCs without the word WORLD on them anywhere and non-WMCs with the word WORLD. Poor guidelines/enforcement from Mastercard perhaps?

If one happens to hold OCBC Titanium and Amex, do you think OCBC Titanium better than Amex?
There is no right or wrong answer but this is purely discussion. There is no point to discuss here if you are limiting what can be discussed.
*
In my case, my Amex Gold CC of 3 years was cut in favour of OCBC Titanium. Also decided to let my Sonycard of 4 years go in favour of CIMB DA. But looking at the promotions dropped, probably wouldn't keep my DA for 2012.

3 years? Amex Gold cc was introduced in mid 2009.

Opps, you are right, got confused because they set my expiry date the same as my MBB Amex card. Got mine in August 2009.

If you can easily earn back the cost, why not? You are still earning interest on the FD.

I received a call at 2.15pm from someone who claimed to be from Standard Chartered name 'Ken' or somewhat similar. He started offering me about this SCB credit cards and asked which cards and CL I possessed at the moment. I felt suspicious after that and straight then I questioned him how he has my HP number, he answered 'we pick the number randomly' and then shooted him which branch he is from... 'Standard Chartered lah' is his answer, then without further discussion I just told him to forward me the details of his so called promotions to my email and up 'till now I don't get his email. The number he used to call me is XXXXXX9300, anyone who encountered the same experience please share whether this is a prank or not...

Marketing calls taken from credit card customer database is quite common, especially with certain banks. Genuine marketing calls will usually only ask is your name so and so and whether you are interested in the product they want to sell. They should not ask for any info from you. Feel free to hang up if they do ask.

in my experience, my dad refuse to pay for it. so will received calls and lawyer letter, in the end nothing happen. lol funny part is they even offer my dad cc facility again. it was citibank i think. really waste of manpower n effort.
well if u want to go through all this hassle. don't pay.

for me i'll just pay it and have a peace of mind since its partly ur fault
*
Being that the amount is small, nothing much they can do if you don't pay other than put you into blacklist, e.g. CTOS and others. This will cause issues if you ever want to open credit facility with anyone in the future. Note that despite the blacklist, banks and others are still allowed to offer you credit facilities.
