hii... can anyone guide me.. i've to choose between this 2 courses...
which one have more value? btw i'm fresh graduate in mechanical eng..

want to ask, what is the future like for piping , good ? just want to know the future of piping in general as i cant give or really know how many piping fields are out there as im still very new in Oil & Gas.

i must say that im tempted of becoming a piping designer although i must know what does a piping designer do/does ? or is there something better to a piping designer ? i dont know where does a piping desinger rank on a list compared to other piping fields.

as for my status now, im working in an office (with a salary of RM500 monthly) and being provided training for 6 months on how to use autocad, together on learning piping and its piping drawings.

after the 6 months is over, ill be hired as their staff or ill be sent to any oil and gas company based in KL

im still very young and i hope this will be a good start for me to the future.

anyone here from technip??m wondering if i should call them...my application is on the under consideration status for almost 3 months lol....does this mean im not going to get an interview or..they are still processing applications??

applied a lot of positions there, some have updates some dont and this particular opening it says im  in consideration but almost 3 months.every day i hope that least they call me for an interview at least.

Not really la, 3.5 and first class degree only applicable for Subsea Graduate Engineer. I already talked with Technip HR.

For other positions, above 3.0 still acceptable....

Currently in Abu Dhabi for interview with adco. Right now they have a recruitment drive to hire new people. There are lots of people (mostly asian, african) here from many discipline, from subsurface to maintenance and even IT and safety officer. Met afew malaysian also.
And lucky for me is I got the job, yey!

How about design engineer in this field?I'm crazy about this position, but the barriers is exp. and skills. I just have Autocad and solidworks. Think this field required such caesar, bocad,pdms,smart marine..any advise from u guys..................tq
