Anyone know which company or posting should a materials engineer apply in oil and gas? I thinking of corrosion control. Would like to join this industry once graduated

Thanks for the info. May i know how much would corro shield pay for a fresh grad? They have an office at my hometown in Miri haha.. Actually, i am graduating at this october, actually i am interested to work in singapore of any oil and gas related field for a material engineer, from wat i studied, i guess i would be doing corrosion control or materials selection especially in alloy design in this field. How about any recommendation at singapore company?

I dont think food technologist is related to OnG in any sense. It is all about food as u are already majoring in that particular field, OnG does not focus on food, your suitable company would be those Brewery, Nestle, F&N and so on.

Any chances for a 2nd class lower to join any OnG company? Anyone from Miri that does know any local or MNC is looking for recruitment? I am Materials and Manufacturing Engineer, fresh graduate

i wanna join those miri or brunei OnG company but so far no avail.. actually i dont know where to look for, especially those sub con company.. they dont really publish online on vacancy..

I see, it's under SapuraCrest.. Or any idea on my another question regarding on position tat engineer normally applied to work in subcon offshore position? Field engineer is considered offshore position?

I wanna ask, if i am interested in Inspection, corrosion engineering in OnG, is it a huge advantages to have those certificate as a fresh graduate? Or those cert can only be obtained once you start working?

normally how much for 1 cert? Dont really know which company do accept trainee engineer in materials corrosion, inspection field... cos normally they wan senior engineer in Malaysia, so far for the vacancies i searched la... But in US or other country, alot vacancies on graduate engineer in this field.. ><

I want to ask that if i am going to apply for offshore position, what would i need to prepare? Do i have to get those safety training, seaman book, marine medical before i apply for the job? I think logically i should only get them after they confirm my position right?
