Guys, It seems that at my international student friends' apartment in sunway the Unifi there can download torrents at high speed. Why? He uses 10mbps unifi and can get torrents around 200kbps - 500kbps.

How much extra did they charge you for running through ceiling?
*
i dont think they charged me extra for running the cables through the ceiling.. but i believe it will be a little more expensive since the cable has to go up the wall, go through the ceiling, and go down from the wall again.. maybe another extra 5meters of cable i guess?

Calvin, could it possible to add location on the user list so that we know how is the unifi status of our fellow forumer. Like previously my unifi was down for 3 days(after my apartment blackout) and i wonder whether i'm the only one affected or the whole neighborhood..but when i "peek" into my neighbour(top floor) unifi signal its on but why mine are totally out..or its only his router signal with no unifi connection.
And i guess it is easier than stating like " my connection in kepong is out" but kepong is too general....must add like kepong baru or jinjang (something like that, no worry its not too specific if our fellow forumer worried about their privacy)
what say you all? by the way its only my suggestion....and i think i could help our member...... hmm.gif

btw sapekman - VIP5 -damansara damai

not really necessary and thats 1 of the purpose of having this thread actually. it'll be better to just post in this thread if anyone is facing any down time or etc along with the package one is on and their location.
the purposed i decided to have the list of unifi users ( like any other users list thread in LYN ) is to see how many people in LYN are on unifi and what package their on. sort of like a simple survey but never/wont intended to go into full details like place or address. privacy also could be another thing like what you mentioned.

going back to users facing downtime issues, usually users will or are welcome to post their status if something aint going right with unifi on their site. this is perhaps the best way i see it by alerting and notifying other unifi users in here when problems like that occurs.

will add you to the list, sapekman. smile.gif

* ps: i still cant find any chinese new year promotion on TM twitter. rclxub.gif

That is pretty slow for VIP10.
Of course you can torrent at high speed with unifi since it's not throttled yet.
