QUOTE(ubeyou @ Jan 9 2011, 07:13 PM) based on my own calculation, BIZ5 1sec 0.6MB 1min 36MB 1hour 2.16GB 1day 51.84GB 30day 1.555TB BIZ10 - 3TB BIZ20 - 6TB u can easily achieve 500GB and over. Capping is much like giving you only 5% of what you suppose to get. so 5% of 5MB is 250kb UL/DL after capping.

QUOTE(Neptern @ Jan 9 2011, 04:55 PM) 60GB for vip5 may be reasonable to you but not for everyone else. Yea i know we may need to learn to live with caps(even in australia they give high caps nowadays)but tm being not clear about when implementing the caps is really frustrating. Now thinking want to go vip5 anot u guys gt read the terms properly 60gb a month and is equally divided in a month. so dat means 60gb divide by 30 day = 2gb a day This post has been edited by kazarboys: Jan 9 2011, 09:18 PM

Problem here.
Just few minutes ago, my DIR615 couldn't connect to the Internet, orange light on the WAN port, Huawei GPON normal, all lights are on, no blinking.
Couldn't connect to the Internet for HALF an hour, before that, around 9.00pm, DIR-615 even DC and could not connect to the Internet (orange light on WAN port).
Any ideas guy?

Tried restarting router and BTU? If tested with cable and still the same after 15 mins, call CS and ask. We wouldn't know if it's an outage or not. QUOTE(JinXXX @ Jan 8 2011, 07:27 PM) WEP isn't so secure if your thinking abt security wise for your wireless problem seem to have improve a lot after i change the security from WPA to WEP. i use to use WEP back in streamyx with the linksys router, no problem at all. the router doesn't drop my iphone connection anymore. but still need to test via skype for let say more then an hour only can determine is the issue really solve once and for all.

Hi, we lived near enough, I'm at Desa Parkcity, Kepong, the end of LDP. Aparently, it was a temporary outage of Unifi, service resumed normal at 10pm yesterday (9/1/2011) and now as I'm surfing.... Hopefully it wouldn't happen frequently...sigh...

QUOTE(BlueWind @ Jan 10 2011, 02:25 PM) thanks but its like 12 pages o_O anyway I came across the Q&A (in pdf format) with TM and the answers were not exactly straightforward. Its neither here nor there. Especially on the data cap issue. Everyone knows its not implemented yet. But leaving the 60GB, 90GB and 120GB cap for VIP5, VIP10 and VIP20 respectively on their website is not very reassuring. can you guide me to the exact post where there is mention of the review of the data cap and its announcement (apparently later this year)? thanks
