Um.. guys. No cap has been imposed yet, right? At least that's what I gathered after skimming through this thread. Just want to clarify again.

I'm on the 20Mb package and it's *really* easy to go over the 120G cap. I just downloaded half a GB of anime in 10 minutes. Imagine how much I can download in a day.
*
download sooo much ? wasting hdd space man...

QUOTE(vergas @ Jan 8 2011, 06:31 PM)
Not yet. Sure you can download a lot, but really how much can you watch in a single day...  brows.gif

later on sure bising have to buy extra hdd one smile.gif

QUOTE(wengjoe @ Jan 8 2011, 07:11 PM)
i already try it bro, problem still persist.
i change the wireless security feature to WEP instead of WPA type.

hopefull it will solve the problem.
*
WEP isn't so secure if your thinking abt security wise for your wireless

What's happening? Keep DC, down and now this?
*
Weyh, I think your antivirus program or something is interfering. O.5Mbps download and 11Mbps upload? Doest make sense man. Try running another speedtest with ALL of your programs closed except your internet browser. Might help.

Btw, this is what happens to me when I turn on my antivirus....

There is 2 solution

1. Remain your copper telephone line.
2. Get a backup UPS for your fiber device. Malaysia Alarm system not much company purchase those compatible with fiber device yet.
*
Yeah, i think remain the copper line is the best solution although need to pay RM26 buta buta every month sweat.gif

Hi...i got something to ask regarding the Hypp TV. Is it using the internet connection to transmit? If yes, then will it affect the connection or even the download capacity?

IPTV has dedicated bandwidth specially catered for it...
8Mbps... unlimited download/upload...
So, if u subscribe to Unifi, actually u got let's say u take VIP 5 which is 5Mbps+8Mbps for IPTV..
Total would be 13Mbps connection...

People will need to come to terms that there will be caps later on, maybe soon.

please go to the unify package details website. It still says that the cap will not be implemented immediately. They cannot have that advertised and capping users at the back end.

yeah when is the cap starting?
I'm planning to take VIP5 but if they start the cap now then i might as well take the 4mb package? or maybe it's just what they say to prevent people from downloading so much

60GB for vip5 may be reasonable to you but not for everyone else.

Yea i know we may need to learn to live with caps(even in australia they give high caps nowadays)but tm being not clear about when implementing the caps is really frustrating. Now thinking want to go vip5 anot sad.gif

based on my own calculation,
BIZ5
1sec 0.6MB
1min 36MB
1hour 2.16GB
1day 51.84GB
30day 1.555TB

BIZ10 - 3TB
BIZ20 - 6TB

u can easily achieve 500GB and over. Capping is much like giving you only 5% of what you suppose to get.
